Did you know that pigs hate having their neck breathed on? Or that the best way to irritate a Police horse is to walk like a baboon in front of it?... Feathers and fur flies, as temperamental pets reveal what gets their goat.
Nick Park’s Creature Comforts took the classic documentary style and applied it to the lives of wild animals and pets, matching a cast of clay characters with human voices to charming effect. Originating from Nick’s 1989 Academy Award®-winning short film, Creature Comforts was unique for using unscripted vox-pop interviews with the British public in a stop motion series that has become an Aardman classic.
The success of the short film led to two TV series, which broadcast on ITV, and an iconic series of commercials for the Electricity Board’s ‘Heat Electric’ campaign. Creature Comforts also went across the pond to the USA where the unique format was used once again to tell real-life stories from people in America. The claymation characters portray very human traits and contemplate absurdities of the universe such as, ""Do bald eagles ever feel self-conscious?"" and ""What makes pigs feel sexy?""

the cat and dog couple is gold
The police horse stole it for me!
I love how the cottonwool in the hamster's ears goes right through 🐹 🤣

Those spiders-just killed me!😅
"You've got to pass wind, or you might blow up."
I'll never get sick of listening to these! They're especially great during quarantine.
The relationship between the cat n dog on the sofa is - perfection
A brilliant production. Thanks for posting.
I'm 62, but this gem is forever.
@TiTinThailand
Wow no one would have guessed your 62 the way you have written it on every comment thread.. Well done you.. have a good boy sticker and wowwy pop
Love that Geordie' rat...had one as a neighbour, couldn't understand him either, but still made me laugh! 😂😊😅..
That wrinkly dog talking about passing wind reminded me of one time in Sainsburys when a Belgian bloke let rip at the cheese counter 😂😂😂
I'm not going to lie, this is my absolute favorite thing to watch when I'm stoned (as I am right now). The art and animation are just sensational and hearing people talk about everyday, ordinary things can be quite interesting. Just an all around terrific series. Greetings from the United States.
Lol
Then stop doing drugs
Wow,I can't believe that it's gone world wide,my best friend is called spanner the skip dog, they found him pissed in a pub in Hackney, they have got him spot on,with the sagging eyelids,he is gonna be remembered for ever like the Egyptian pharaohs, long live spanner,,
Same, the baby chicken in the intro always makes me smile
Stop then
We love to find out what animals are thinking about everyday life. 😂
The horse one is the best one honestly
0:55 Clam Cuteness! 🤗❤️

I thought they werr muscles
Mussels, which you may not get in the States 😉☺️

Those Bats who couldn't hear the questions!!
Cucumbers?
No, speed cameras! 😂 They were deaf like a stone.
They used to call a certain type of old person "old bats" in the UK so maybe that's why the 2 old ladies are bats
The rats are so funny 😆 😂😂
Speed cameras ? Nope 😂😂
Cucumbers?
Absolutely brilliant genius classy love love love these animations
6:54 The Shar Pei puppy is sooo cute 😊
Shar-Pei

Yes! Now my morning is complete! :o)
Genius
Love it! ❤️
Deaf bats lolz
Cucumber sandwiches lol 🤣 I get the feeling he would have been better off writing his questions on a big whiteboard and holding them up for them!
Cucumbers? 😅
Ha ha ha bloody brilliant
No speed cameras
2:39 uhhh, since when spiders could make webs in the cars mirror? That's kinda cool. At least, the spider is making a road trip.
Spiders always do that
There’s one on my car mirror at this very moment
When you don’t wash the mirrors!
brilliant
RIP Wallace, ❤️💜❤️
Those clams look like from a Ian Svankmeyer movie. Creepy AF
Mussels , but your point is well made 😉👍
Hamster is my alter ego
2005 I can't believe there thst old
some of these voices sound stoned 😂
So who in the world leaves shit in the road for drunk people to walk into???
I was really wondering that myself, lol..
Some of the things they say in these episodes, I remember a human said that and it leaves me scratching my head over it, for sure.
@@techsmechs2485 oh ja definately
The ones I Hate are hidden in the grass. Either you step on it or the gardener go past with the law mower and spray it allover the place.
Could be the policemen who ride the horses?
@@Lalzovi ooooohhhhhh i forgot they have alot more of those over there.... Gotcha
Do they add these backgrounds sounds after recording the voices or are they real background sounds that were captured along in the interview?
Probably sometimes real and sometimes added
I’ve always heard it be pet peeves.
Police Horse poo isn't dangerous in a smelly way Police dog poo is dangerous in a smelly way 😅
0:44
What is the police horse's accent? French?
Could be Swedish, perhaps
I think he’s a Spanish speaker.
If it helps the horse is Arabian so he's probably some sort of middle eastern English immigrant.
6:32
Fantashish,my m8,spanner the skip dog,I am so jealous he got spotted, but glad too, about time he was spotted as a star,we all know who he is,ah Tina, rest in peace at Pendragon castle with dancer my friend,I will join you both one day,
why didn't they make it pet peeves
British English?
I think it’s supposed to be more than a pet peeve, more than something that would be mildly annoying
Whoever the spider was is a right nobhead
Surprised the spider and dog said miles per hour and not kilometers
rem mer - It’s because he’s English and we use MPH over here.
Rural english prefer to use miles over metric.
Well we were supposed to have gone metric when we joined the EU. It worked for the money but many of us, my generation and over, didn’t really bother with weights and measures and stayed with the old miles, pints, yards.
@@Echoparticle not rural, it's national in the UK..
Most of us still think in miles, but weigh things in kilos.
its pet peeves
Per hates is the British English and this is made by a British company 😉🐹👍
