dude you have no idea what are u talking about, the material matter, the lvl of the ammo matter, the caliber of the ammo matter, regardless of whether they are both at the same level, some materials allow bullets to pass even if the armor is not completely destroyed, also the amount of bullets depend if you shoot in the same spot vs if you shoot all over the armor, also if you shoot 6 times and the dummy is down doesn't mean that always gonna need 6 shoots, also, depending on the angle of impact, the armor can be pierced with fewer or more bullets (same with the helmets), and depending of what area of the body cover by the armor you shoot gonna need more or less bullets
If the ammo that hit the armor has less than 10 times the penetration of the armor class, as the armor is destroyed the penetration percentage increases (but personally, I like to work with the maximum number of shots needed to kill, as this covers the worst possible case, if it is not something extremely rare to occur, of course)
I like that you focused more on the stats and the inventory slots this time which I think a lot of people don't take into consideration. The inclusion of a range of bullets that each armor might take is also helpful to account for RNG. There are crazy results like T4 breaking on 3 or 4 shots if you roll badly on the RNG. I think the material difference is only present in the T4 Sentry tanking 1 less bullet on average cuz it breaks before that while it disappears from the equation on higher or lower tiers cuz you die before that. I still run it cuz of the cheaper price on Randall, the stats and the slots but the TM2 is better.
Ye the slots are massive things you need to actually think about. Ye RNG is a thing you need to consider but i did 3 test on the shooting range but its very hard to test as it is RNG. if you watch my other armour video i go into the materials used in each other and how they differ.
My opinion: T3 = 6B5, any other offers almost no storage space for the same price. T4= TM1 or TM2... Depends the cost at the moment.TM2 is better, but sometimes the price get over 90K mark, so i USUALLY go for the TM1. T5= A9 by elimination: Defender weights 12kg... It´s almost an Spartan C in weight. Warrior offers litle space, and A8 only protect the Torax. T6= Spartan C turns you into a walking tank... But it´s obscenely heavy. So, just depends of what you want. Both are very viable. Congrats for this video. Usually you fail in a lot of things (like putting one of the best weapons in the entire game (AEK) as a rat gun, because isnt good and it´s CHEAP (just one of the most expensive weapons in game). But in this video you NAILED it. People talks about materials and stuff, but the material is the last thing to look... When we are talking about regular vests, ok to take a look at the materials, but here you have an order to follow: The order would be: 1 - Level of protection (most obvious thing) 2- Area of protection, weight and how much it affects movement and ergonomics (depends of what you want) 3- Storage space 4- Material After putting the first 3 things in priority, you cant choose exactly what type of material you want.
You forgot to show that it's possible to get armor more affordably through trades (Personally, I get the 6B13, Composite 926, IND401 and Sentry 305, you can also get the BT6 by trade, but it takes a long time to renew) and a tip to reduce the cost by up to 10% when making trades is not to buy the items through the trade page (as apparently there is a certain fee that increases the price of the items), but individually on the market.
Defender is veeeeeeery heavy. For this weight and price i would buy an used Spartan C. Top tier protection, a lot of space, same material, more area of protection (just the best in this category), just a bit more weight for similar price (*used vs new). Any armored rig in T6 is viable. Spartan C is top tier protection... Turns you into a walking tank, but the it´s very heavy. AVS is more expensive, protects less area but weights a lot less.
@@hooyabaaa2 ? Spartan is even heavier and almost twice as expensive as Defender (250 vs 420). Weight doesn't matter, you can always use stims, but -18% is a huge no no, even in Armory. AVS is more expensive than Spartan for a reason and this is it. That's why you always premed, if you lose mobility you die.
@@cx123456 There´s some trade offs to pay when you have the best area of protection in the game. I always look for the price and how i will play. You wont use something like the Spartan C to play as solo for example. The same thing goes for Matzka 2 helmet. It´s the only T5 helmet that also have a T5 face guard... The problem became less problematic (lol) when you have a team, and at least one with a good headphone to make the calls. I paid 263k for an Spartan C (used one). It´s EXTREMELY cheap for a T6 armor. The Spartan B (T4) is costing 100K+ (new) at this moment. I paid a bit more than 130K for an used Defender M4 (used). So yes, for the price, all the downsides of the Defender M4 compared to Spartan B are now just numbers... The only true big downside of the Spartan C is mobility... But when the price of an used one is close to a T5 new... You make a good deal.
Generally speaking yes I agree if you are simply talking about how “effective” the armor is in regards to durability, then most standard body armors are better than the same level rigs by 20-40 durability depending. The armored rigs always win when it comes to saving money however, they are often the same price if not cheaper than the same armor level but include the rig. So you are saving 10-30k on buying a rig by going with the armored rig. The way I approach it is this, if you are running t3 armor, always go with an armored rig, the durability difference from base t3 armor vs an armored rig will likely not be enough to matter to when fighting actual operators. So for money making/budget runs I always go with the t3 armored rig, it’s cost effective and still gives me some protection against bots and coverts. T4 is the starting point to look at if you are only focusing on PvP, it’s a huge jump in survivability over t3, but the cost increase is 100% so there’s that. TLDR is armored rigs if you have them or are saving money or are broke, and standard armor with a separate rig if you want survivability and aren’t worried about cost.

for people that didn't know about the materials why its diffrent it's how it repairs and how much armor dmg you recieve

Why would you run the slower armor in the first place it just seems bad unless you are running a rat/shotty build
Alot of people would run it in a SOLO mode in armoury or even in a team
Armored Rig is worse than the regular Armor in the same category.
yes and no ! matters how you are looking at it !
