Love it bro, you videos are the best part of my day. We have been snowed in here in Arkansas. 10inches of snow yesterday. It will be melted by tomorrow so no real big deal. I finished up an emerald and sapphire ring I have been working on since it started snowing. It kicked my ass a few times but I got it and I didn't lil the emerald. I hear they can be fragile. My first one in the bag tho. I get my stones from the gold scrapers for a dollar a stone. It doesn't matter what it is, the price is a dollar. I scored a 2.85 orange sapphire a couple weeks ago. Heat only treatment. A ton of blues all the time. Its a really poor part of the country mostly forest and farm land so not a lot of money. I sell my rings for like 100 to 300 depending on the customer. Like todays ring of .70 Colombian emerald and two .50ct blue sapphires will sell for around 150 if I'm really Lucky. Lol shit in a bind I would go less 😅😅
Pretty exciting Tim. That bigger one kept flopping out in the wash screen and I could tell it was kinda hard not to get excited...I Was! Your amongst them and that's why you are digging there. I expect you to find what you are looking for and it's a pleasure you sharing that with us. P.s. one of the Daughter's was over a couple ago and watching your latest while I pulled out the example stone's you sent me. Be well Brother Tim.
Always a good time finding stones. Have you ever thought of making bags of wash with some spinel, titanium, zircons and sapphires. I bet shipping is was kills it shipping overseas but it would be cool. Even if its duds or small clear ones. Just came across my mind while watching your video. Have a good day and a cold beer.
I knew there were more good stones there and I still think there’s more on the other side of that hump in the granite I think it will drop down into another nice pocket I think you’ll be back in that area sometime… great stones thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
I told you about the ruby I found at rubyvale, Dont think I told you about the Green my grandfather found. Was round as a 20 cent coin and bit longer then a matchbox. My sister stole it and I havent seen it since
Quick question Tim, just replaced oil in the diff that brakes the up and over/bucket on my wash plant, running very slow… what oil do you run in yours?
Always happy you are finding great stones Tim. Next spot will be great!
Thanks, hopefully 😊💎
