I remember it being really sad - here you were with your first own horse and people seemed hell bent on bringing you down and digging up stuff from his past about why he wasn’t right etc etc. But you have proved them all wrong. He is a fantastic boy and they have made many happy memories with lots more to come. I’m so pleased you found him ❤️

Not going to lie, I wasnt always a fan of Storm, just because I couldn't see him as a jumper. Never hated him and Gabby though, but I admit I wasnt a fan. It's so crazy! It felt like just yesterday Stella was a troublesome horse, but now, just look at her! She is so obedient. And that stuff that your feeding her must work well, but I'm pretty sure she just feels safe and secure. Stella has made so much progress, and it's all so bittersweet to see her so happy and chillaxed. I Really do wish the best of luck to you. My horse Moose went through the same thing, and it's just really amazing how horses can just adapt and become this sweet, little pony. (Is Stella a horse or a pony?) I can't wait for Storm to come! I rlly think gabby will be alike to bring her on very well and will be very educational for her and her horsey life. When storm comes home he will rlly come along and gabby will rlly be able to bring him along. Having Finn at home I think will rlly be amazing for Sophia and there will be nothing to be scared of in ur new arena so her confidence will shoot up x

I know I am late commenting but you guys are amazing I love horses and you guys have encouraged me to continue riding even if it gets hard you guys are amazing and keep posting your amazing videos that make the bad days good.
Can I also suggest that if you want another mini, consider rescuing a pony instead! So many ponies get outgrown by their riders and put in shelters, it would be awesome to resuce :)
Just FYI, a martingale will make the underside of her neck muscled as they start to lean on it. Gabby has learned to teach them to round up and have better form. This will be better for a stronger top line.
It must be fun walking around the fields picking out future pastures. I think that spot you picked would be nice. Watching has shown me the difference in bonding when the horse is at your own place versus a facility. Hopefully some day I can have horses in my back yard. lol

I am so ordering from this lady! I love this concept and never seen this in the US. Stella is a happy and very comfortable horse at your barn. I don't think she was ever in a busy barn environment...I think that is where her previous behavior was from. Looking back when you guys trail rode I saw no stress or spook...she is where she is happy...best thing ever for her...kuddos. Now you know she has my heart and I am over the moon seeing her shine! Your mare and gelding get along vabiously so just curious if you considered having a mixed herd.? It's not possible for everyone depending on dynamics however I have mine mixed except for the stallion. Just move fields for greener grazing and to give a field rest after reseeding. Just a thought I had when you were showing possible paddocks. I ride in my fields just about daily and of course farm roads. Can't wait till spring break for 20 of us to spend 11 days camping in Maggie Valley! Finn and Willow are darling and so right. Willow is a total diva...lol. She reminds me of my guard donkey who thinks he is boss of anything breathing...lol. Thanks for shout out hon. I am just a horse lover that so enjoys watching the joy kids find in horsemanship. Amazing how a change of barn can make such a difference stella is so chilled now. My horse was the same but i started with him on a really quiet yard and he hated it he was always really sharp to ride and very spooky i moved to a bigger yard and he changed overnight he is completely relaxed now. Love the jewellery

Stella certainly has changed in a good way since being at home with you, she’s a beautiful mare and I love that we see more of her personality coming out. She was totally relaxed with Gabby, long may it continue and I hope we see you have a sit on her soon too Laura 😊 Gabby’s reaction to getting a phone number was priceless, what a wonderful surprise and yes, when you bought your first horse there was lots of criticism and I know it’s still not all plain sailing, however what a journey you’ve all come on in just a year, too much to list here, but I hope you just take a moment to reflect on your achievements 👍

Amazing how a change of barn can make such a difference stella is so chilled now. My horse was the same but i started with him on a really quiet yard and he hated it he was always really sharp to ride and very spooky i moved to a bigger yard and he changed overnight he is completely relaxed now. Love the jewellery
