What a great project! I love the way you overlapped the 2 parts, it's a very striking piece. Thank you so much for sharing. I ordered some cutters from Polymeralia a while back and was very pleased with the service and products. :-)
Thank you, very pretty! I have 2 questions ;) How long did the acrylic paint take to dry before you can cut out the shape? And you don't need to varnish it, the colour do stay after baking without?
It doesn't take long to dry, as you apply a very thin coat. I do not usually varnish the pieces and have had no problem with the paint. If you want to, you can use a matte varnish, or apply a thin coat of liquid clay with your finger and bake it again.
new to silkscreen....my previous experience has been the pattern sticking to the clay and tearing it all apart. I use Kato and any suggestions would be helpful. thank-you
Try to use a harder clay. Although you shouldn't have any problem with Kato, but perhaps it was too hot when you tried. To make the clay less sticky you can try to place a thin sheet of clay between two pieces of paper and let it for some minutes to leach. Don't let it set too much or it will become brittle. Hope this advice is helpful for you.
Hi there, I enjoyed this tutorial so much, but I have a question? What sizes are the cutters you use for the cutting? Are they the same size, but one is a rounded square and one a rounded triangle?? I want to make one, but, it's not looking right with the cutters I have, I would like to order the right sizes if you can tell me (in english) what these that you used are? Thank you so much, I love how wonderful they are, Sincerely, Joy :) In english please!
Hola!

Thank you very much! :) So I will try without because I don't like it not really when polymer clay is varnished...

The square cutter is about 5 cm wide and the base of the triangle cutter is the same size. Thanks for watching!

Gracias.
