@@jcar1417And stacking rocks when the wheel diameter isn't even halfway up the rock or ledge or tree in this case! I thought they were going to rip the front end out from under the truck! 🤔 😔 😳 🙄 😅
A way that I was able to help with the vapors in my fuel rail (caused by heat) in my xjs was to wrap the injectors and fuel rail In a heat shield material, It made massive difference for me when wheeling in the heat!
A big reason why I put vent in hood on my XJ..... both sides, the AC was converted into air compressor. I know it will be said that they are in Desert and need the AC mine was in use in S.E. so hot and really humid.😮
Looks like they were having a contest who could be the most unprepared, no tools no spare tires or wheels, no jacks no nothing in fact. Pure entertainment, only thing missing was the banjos 😅
Hillbilly needs to having matching size lug nuts on all 4 wheels! He seems to try to make everything more complicated than it should be! Damn it Hillbilly, get it together brother!
Design Engineering Inc (DEI) makes a fuel injector rail cover kit that helps keep the fuel rail cooler. I used it on my XJ here is Arizona and never had another issue.
Demri at 17:53 pointing out that hillbilly got stuck on every obstacle so far except the one she spotted him on was hilarious. I mean, she was right, but it was funny. Love to see Demri out having fun. Rory definitely needs to come give lessons though.
Love watching you all 4x4s wheeling rules air them tires down. I’m surprised you all don’t use air up and down systems like when I was in the army in 1990s we had air up air down system works so good
Delta PAG makes amazing cooling fans that help hotrods survive slow-speed traffic jams on Power Tour. They probably have solutions for your overheating vehicles. DD Speed Shop put one on a 55 Nomad that never overheated on the whole trip from Canada.
Man you guy's got back to the shop and it was still light out. You guy's could have grabbed the stuff and went to fix it. I know I wouldn't want to leave my stuff up there all night. Oh well can't wait for next video, thanks guy's.
Look I have a 4wd truck but I live in southern New Mexico where you don't need 4x4 unless you live in the mountains looks to me like getting your tires a little dirty is like putting on chains😁 good stuff.
that last waterfall near impossible but for the rest a drop in tire pressure would benefit the whole truck and your wallet! just a suggestion,,love the vids keep em coming!👍
I know it's not nearly as cool sounding but you could call it the "blue java " it's just a blue banana. It's actually a real thing. Just thought I'd share. Love all the videos, keep up the great work guys and the boss!
Brand new tires need to break in and roughen up before they'll give good traction in the rocks, especially when the rocks are wet. Also, on a trail like this, about 8 psi air would work best.
Vapor lock on XJ is usually due to a bad fuel pump. Had the same issue on 2 XJ we have. Once replaced, there is no more issue with the vapor lock. So, making a return line is not needed. Cool trail, tho.
I had that vapor thing on my TJ . I got a purpose built rail and injector insulation kit that seems to help. And hood vents, but you obviously already have that. Just an FYI
Another fun video. Curious how that is only rated a 5... That trail on 35's would be a nightmare. Well unless those 35's were on a Samurai or something like that. Those rocks were easily 39's and up. Lol
Good morning when will we get the opportunity to see the lovely boss drive up hanging tree trail? In my opinion she could definitely do it easily as long as she has a good spotter.
Great to see Owen on your channel again. I think the best comment in the whole video was Demri "Hey, did your smack talking catch up to you?" Hillbilly "No, not yet", Demri "Broncstar says different!" hahahaha. Well done Cody on being the wingman. Thanks for taking us along.
Do you know if the water flows all year on this trail? I did it in mid June and it was sweet. Just wondering if it would still be flowing in the fall??
Great having a spare tire with no tools to change it. Why are there different size lugs on the tire, especially on a custom build that wasn’t in an emergency situation.
You'd have better traction in dejablue if you dropped tire pressure to 5 to 8 psi. Like seeing you put dejablue through its paces/shakedown. Its going to be great for smaller jobs and a great support vehicle for Fred.
Go check out Owen's video and help him get over 10k subs! ua-cam.com/video/tBx0qpNXjfo/v-deo.htmlsi=uNCUudxbrd7dXspo
that link goes to a airbnb site
Bad link Robby
your link is broke :(
My Me Too, bad link, an Air BNB site.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Was good to see Cody along with yous.
Having the vehicle to do the trail is important.... might need Rory to teach some driving skills next 😂
@@davebenson1504 that would be a big plus.
Agreed!! Also airing down WAY more since they are one Beadlocks!! Ditch the Pantagoinas and put some BFGs on that rig ASAP
Skills sold separately.
Great video! Thanks for the invite its always a great time hanging with you!👊
You need to teach them how to read the trail. Hillbilly was straddling everything, can't believe he made it that far.
Watching Hillbilly on this trail is like watching a bull in a china shop.
“Patience you must have young Padawan.” - Yoda
I think Hillbilly could use a little tutoring from Rory Irish on line selection and throttle control.

Use a spotter, your missing the line consistently.
Was thinking the exact same thing. He needs to slow down and think ahead a bit!
Crawling should feel more like dancing and less like crashing.
Videos are always better when Demri adds commentary and laughter.
Creepy...
@@tmdwu3110 You're the one that makes it creepy...projecting much...weirdo.
Really enjoy watching y'all whether having fun or spinning wenches. Always enjoy when "the Boss" does commentary.
Amazing video guys....it's cool watching thos vehicles struggle to the max !.... love Dems new hair look !
Love seeing another Jeep on the trails. Especially the older ones.

I was trying to remember where the fuel line goes beside the exhaust. Is it getting preheated before it gets to the engine?
A big reason why I put vent in hood on my XJ..... both sides, the AC was converted into air compressor. I know it will be said that they are in Desert and need the AC mine was in use in S.E. so hot and really humid.😮
Absolutely epic recovery! Deja Blue handled the toughest obstacles like a pro. Great teamwork!
Hmmm. 8 million Milwaukee tools and you took NONE with you 😂
Milwaukee pack out kit would’ve helped

@@downhill64Hillbilly has a spare on the back, just insufficient tools to be able to swap it on!
Hard to believe 3 riggs on a trail like without the proper tools.... Sounds like the way I do things! 😂
Hillbilly is so rough on the trails. I knew he would have issues right away. Finesse Hillbilly...Finesse 😁👍
But its literally in his name lol
He’s overheating and power steering is slipping with no protection at doors. Should leave it parked.
@@randyhome1544he enjoys it and that's what he does, so why not go for it, all the best to you all
Great video, hopefully you will expertly install a new tailgate on Deja Blue soon.
Fun video, Thank You for sharing! Lesson for the day: "Don't go rock crawling without a well stocked tool kit."
digging the new xj addition, your going to have a total blast with that sweet jeep!!

Thats what they had at the shop. They really need to Give the Broncstar a little love and fix a few things on it. It was their first build.
Why did Colton watch your face vs watching Owen try to climb?? Colton is in love with some Robbie!❤❤
Boss does excellent commentary and the back and forth between her and Hillbilly is hilarious! Good to see that stranger riding shotgun with Hillbilly!
I hope Deja Blue will be the name. That trail looked more fun to hike on than drive on.
Looked like a great day had by all, too bad about the tyre ,thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones

Blueberry looking great!
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Front digs are always necessary 😎
Nice to see Cody out having fun.
SO glad I recommended Deja Blue for the name while Matt was building it. Love the content, keep up the good work!
I never understood the other name. . .Deja Blue is a great name. Congrats!
I had to rewind the video like 3 times at 18sec. and listen I thought you said a bad word, Robbie love the videos ❤
Huh? Nowhere does it even remotely sound close to a "bad word"
Murphy came along for this ride ! Thanks for sharing !
Wrap the rail inbetween injectors with fiberglass n aluminum foil 😉 maybe ceramic coat or Sierra coat the exhaust or header wrap at minimum 😊
When the engines are revving, no music is required. Just give us the raw motor tunes. 😏
I have a spare jeep for parts and I have a rear hatch for Deja blue pretty sure it’s the same color too.

Awesomeness capable vehicles, & crew, & entertainment you guys ROCK!
You guys are hilarious!
That looks like too much fun!
Looks like you have a little to much air left in the tires Robby. Ask Paul and Matt what they put there air pressure at
They run 8psi
About 12lbs?
Never seen Matt with a air pressure gauge all he’ll say is somewhere between 6 & 11 lbs
If those bead locks are real single digits are sustainable.
He also needs a pump to air back up
Looked like a great day ☺️, thanks for sharing 😁.

Thanks for the advice, Mike. You guys could incorporate a horn signal with the customer for stop and go.?? Let's know for starting or stopping.
Rough country to test your rigs on. Great to see you give Owen some support.

Good to see Deja Blue at its new HOME !!!
Gonna take time to work out the bugs on Deja Blue and BroncStar. Keep wheeling.
Good job guys 😎 👍
That Deja blu is an AWESOME XJ !!
Great vehicle, but I saw a few instances where a full locker in the rear would have been helpful.
Check out DEI fuel rail/injector/line/manifold heat shields for the fuel vaporization problem
You know, trail mater has this great 10’ length recovery rope perfect for those tight trails. Bet he could hook you up😉
You will always remember your first recovery with Deja Blue!
Why am I not surprised... that you'd go straight to that trail!
Seeing the jeep vapor lock reminded me if my 1952 Hunson Hornet!

there are heat shields for the fuel rail/intake plenum to prevent the vapor lock on XJ's

I would love to come out and ride with you lot and matt. It be good to see how different it is from the uk.
Love the Merica shirt and was to late to get one in my size...😢

I cannot imagine going out there without a good tool kit 🤯
Gotta call it blueberry man. Blueberry an the Banana
Yeah, they need to save the "Explory" name for a Ford. It doesn't work for a Jeep.
If you clock the fan clutch spring around 180° the fan spring thinks it's open and hot so your fan runs all the time. DexJK has a short on this.

The Bronc-Star needs a few tweaks and it will be a great assist vehicle to Deja-Dori on recoveries.
Great job again.
The Blueberry forever!!!
The broncstar would benefit a lot from a lower tow point! The winch would work better down lower too

It wasn't fun to watch but it was very entertaining.
Robby's wheeling skills have improved a lot.
Robbie, you should have “the BOSS” see if she can find a place to get Deja Blue rear gate replaced & get a cool paint job.
DEI makes a kit for the xj that helps a ton with that. Florida wheeler here so we know about the heat.
I keep waiting for Wisker merch but would also like some King Fred shirt.
Robby, I'm in CT. Will you be at Stafford on Saturday also? Would love to stop by and meet you.

I like Hillbilly's finesse,

Too much air pressure in Robbies ride. They couldn't grab properly
Would have liked to seen Shawn and his rig up there with you!
