The way the bird comes back immediately to you shows that the bird truly loves you and trusts you 🫶. Don’t listen to other comments saying you’re hurting the bird. If the bird is accepting of it it’s fine. And as long as you don’t add TOO much pressure when doing this it’s ok. 😄

I own a ringneck, and believe me, it the bird had a problem with it he would be bleeding like mad. Ringnecks are not a simple parrot to train. The can be more stubborn and vicious than the biggest macaw. The bird is very much in control here.
I also have an indian ringneck. Mine is very tame but dosent let me touch him like pets or touching is wings.He always goes to me and stays on my shoulders
