I have these wheels on my Audi, I was also worried about bending and cracking but if I’m honest I’ve had no issues. I’ve seen wheels 3 times the price that are prone to bending.
These are the exact rims I’m looking at but in bronze, I think they look so amazing, so light and at such an unbeatable price point! Idk how Japan racing manages to price them so competitively
Make sure you see the bronze in person. It's really dark from what I saw. So it might be a good idea to even see some pictures from actual owners and then decide if it's the right color for you

Hey man! Nice content:). Where did you fit the tyres and milltek exhaust? I need new wintertyres for my M2 Comp for next season as well as fitting a new exhaust-system eventually. I also live in Sweden btw.

A nice choice with a beautiful Y - Spoke design that has me salivating at the BBS FI-R rims but can’t believe the price!! I would have gone for the silver if offered, as they would really pop unlike the black which blend into the car imo.
Those BBS FI-R are superb. But like you've said, the price is insane... 4 wheels would have cost me the same amount I paid for ALL the mods on my car. Crazy :)
As long as you like the wheels, that's all that matters. I think they look great too.
As for the B16's, can't wait for a full review of that setup.

The M2 Competition detail is all black, silver would have suited the more chromed OG may be
Any problems with them in time? High speeds, pot holes in the road? Do they bend easily? I've had a similar wheel, the Motec Ultralight. Good overall, but the smallest pothole can deform them.
I've only ran them for about 6 months. No issues at all. Even had a set of Bilstein coilovers that made the ride even harder. I personally would definitely buy them again.

Can you spec the M2 C in Sweden with M437 rims? In Germany we can, I think they look awesome. i bought the 788 for winter, and you're right you can't appreciate the disc and calipers so well.
I ordered the SL01 as well for my Mustang GT.....the price/weight/design is hard to beat

Those rims do look good . However. I love the 788m wheels. As a matter of fact, I brought a second set of 788m wheels as a winter set with my Michelin Alpin snow tires. Keep up the good content and good luck with those rims.
Are those 19's or 20's? I'm really thinking about getting a set of them.

I don't think the new JR SL series is cheap. Every company has to start somewhere and JR found a way to keep their flow formed prices the same as their cast wheels.
Also, there's no other brand that offers custom offset, pcd, and color for flow formed wheels.
You need to look at the date of my video. At that time, those wheels cost me around 800-900euros per set. That is cheap

Maybe a little, but it's hard to tell. It's still quite tight

like I've said in the video :) wider tires will rub when the car is lowered.

They are forged, don't think strength will be an issue
They are not forged. They are flow formed. Still, pretty good in my book
@@TunedIntoCars specification is saying Hybrid forged fabrication technology (Flow Forming) tbh not sure what does it exactly mean.
I've also got Japan racing on my st180,I think they are way ahead in terms of style,only Rays volks can compete but very expensive - G025's ,stunning but £5000.00
Alot of people owning 5f cupras have the revo flow formed wheels which are around £400 more. The JR SL01's are solid and I will be purchasing these on my 5f cupra 290 soon
Nice choice! If they get damage - it won’t be as painful...
The problem with cheap rims is that they are not always that strong, meaning that they could easily bend when driving over a put hole for example. I wouldn't want to risk that in country like Sweden with its bad road condition from time to time. I hope you know what you're doing.
Like I've said, I've spoken to actual people that have Japan Racing wheels on their cars for years, and there few problems with them. Also, these are flow formed. So a bit in between cast wheels and forged ones.
And last but not least, I may have worded it badly in the video. These are not cheap wheels, by any means. They are less expensive than the premium brands, like OZ, BBS, etc.
But we'll see what's what as time goes on :)

I think bronze wheels on black cars is overdone nowadays. Plus, the Japan Racing bronze is quite dark so it wouldn't have been such a big contrast.
