Hey guys! Hope you’re all well ✨ Let me know in the comments if you received any books for Christmas or if you don’t celebrate it, what your recent books are 📖✨💓
One of the books I got was one of my favorite graphic novel, which is Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World by Pénélope Bagieu. I highly recommend it!
Spinning Silver has my favourite cover ever, I need the hardcover of Uprooted so badly to match. I read Spinning Silver in December and I loved it so much, very atmospheric and was written in a bit of a different way then I'm used to. I hope that you love it when you get around to it.
Me too! I haven’t been able to get my hands on the hardcover of uprooted yet either it’s so hard to find for a decent price 😭 ooo yay that makes me so excited to read it! Thank you for watching 💓
The pinch of magic series is absolutely brilliant and book three is about to drop so you have got these books at the right time. Anything by Michelle Harrison is absolutely phenomenal. Have a look in to the Thirteen treasures series x
I’ve heard so many great things I’m honestly so excited and I have the third book pre ordered!✨ I have also seen that one before too so if I like this series I’ll definitely be picking those ones up next xx
Finished The Girl Who Drank The Moon and loved it! To add to your enjoyment, try to forget about it for a while because your synopsis was like 80% of the actual content of the book. So if I were you I'd put it down for a while to forget as much as possible about it, just to pick it up not knowing a lot! ^^ but that is just me! I just hope you'll love it as much as I do! :D Love your channel and you look so beautiful!
BLACKBIRD IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The artwork is everything! (I wasn’t super super into the story, good but not my favorite) regardless tho the artwork is amazing
I really hope you enjoy Wicked Fox! I read it last year and absolutely adored it. I pre-ordered Vicious Spirits last year, but still haven’t gotten the chance to read it yet.
I think you will enjoy the Poppy War series. 😍 I ended up so hooked/almost binging it.. Lol. I still need to read the Burning God but omg, it's a bit spendy for me right now. Lol. I loved all the books you got, they sound so good. I'm also curious about Tomie, but I'm a baby about horror so.. haha. Loved this. 🖤
I hope so! I know it’s going to be a tough read but I’m excited to see how the story unfolds and the historical and folklore elements of it too! Yay thank you for watching! Haha I don’t read a lot of horror but I definitely want to branch out into it this year! Excited to read Tomie! Thank you 🖤
A Tale Of Magic by Chris Colfer is the only book I got for Christmas. I read it that same night. I knew I'd love it because he is one of my favorite authors (other favorite is Rick Riordan).
@@VanillaMoon We'll ignore the fact that I said A Tale Of Magic (which I got Christmas 2019) instead of A Tale Of Witchcraft (which is the sequel to A Tale Of Magic). Anyways, it takes place before the land of stories series (which is also written by Chris Colfer | you don't have to read the land of stories series beforehand but I'd recommend it because he makes references that you wouldn't understand otherwise). Goodreads Description Of A Tale Of Magic: Fourteen-year-old Brystal Evergreen has always known she was destined for great things--that is, if she can survive the oppressive Southern Kingdom. Her only escape are books, but since it's illegal for women to read in her country, she has to find creative ways of acquiring them. Working as a maid at her local library gives her the perfect excuse to be near them and allows her to sneak a few titles home when no one is looking. But one day Brystal uncovers a secret section of the library and finds a book about magic that changes her life forever.
I have read a lot of Christmas books.... Like Miracle on Christmas street by annie o neil, christmas under a cranberry sky by holly Martin, calling mrs christmas by carole Mathews, The christmas promise by Sue Moorcroft, honeycote series by Veronica Henry, Finding love at the Christmas market by Jo Thomas, One family Christmas by bella Osborne and finally a perfect Cornish Christmas by Phillipa Ashley. I love the Books . Jodie you can also read these books .I am sure you gonna like these books. Regards Barnamala 🇮🇳🇮🇳
A Tangle of Spells will be the 3rd book to A Pinch of Magic. No idea when it will be coming out. I think it will be released this year? Not 100 percent on that.
I have been hearing fantastic things about Ito's books so I hope tomie will be great. Yess I really want to read the a pinch of magic series at some point. Enjoy them! I thought the poppy war was really great and I am looking forward to getting to the dragon republic eventually too. And I have heard so many fantastic things about the girl who drank the moon as well ^.^ I hope you will enjoy reading all of these
Me too! They seem to be getting more popular and I’m super intrigued to try a new genre of manga! Ooo yay I hope you enjoy them when you do they’re some of the most recommended middle grades to me! So glad to hear you liked the poppy war! Thank you Olivia 💞
jodie your top is so cute!! i love the heartstopper wrapping paper as well! ahh i love the poppy war series so much, i can't wait to see what you think about it!! 👀
@@fictionalmusings4676 yes I’ve heard about the trigger warnings which is why I’m a little apprehensive but I still can’t wait and hopefully ill get to it pretty soon
Heya Hun x I just wanna say Hi and that I really watching your videos x Your content is so positive and always puts me in a good mood x Stay safe and Enjoy 💕❤️
I really want to show my face on my Instagram and UA-cam but I am nervous that someone will find it and make fun of me from school or something. I also have a fear that anyone in the world can see my face which makes me uncomfortable. Any tips to get over that fear?
Yeah I get why your so uncomfortable. But it's totally up to you. Don't worry about what people say at school, i know it's hard, it does get easier. You'll be doing something you love!
I haven’t shared my UA-cam or bookstagram with anyone from school or irl besides a select few family members because I feel the exact same way! I totally understand how you feel! I think really you just have to take the plunge and start making content you love and are comfortable putting out there into the world. I’d think of a name that doesn’t include your actual name to make it harder for anyone you know to stumble across it too. But honestly I’d love to watch any videos you make and this community is so lovely and supportive 💓
@@VanillaMoon Ya haha. I already use a fake name. Michelle is actually my middle name and I use it instead of my actual name for safety haha. Thanks for the tips :)
it’s a fearful thing to put yourself out into the entire world for people to see, but i believe if it is something you want to do. you should do it for you. don’t think, as easy as it is to say than do, about what others may think of your content or choice to do it. bullies belittle people because they have no sense of self. their opinion isn’t a definition of you or what your choices really represent. they, finding amusement in it, doesn’t suddenly make your choice a bad one. nor does it make it funny / childish to make. you need to learn to value your own decision more than you do someone else’s. others will laugh, whilst others will support you and your decision to make them. listen only to those who want you to do well for yourself through your choices. those who support you are the only people which matter and will always matter.
