This was great! I created a fully branded countdown timer with music and it works perfectly! I used two timers - 5 mins which I trimmed to 4:30 and a different 30-second one. Thank you for this tutorial.
It would depend on the software they are using. They've most likely created an hour video that plays picture in picture if they are livestreaming. Or added it as an overlay if the video is recorded.

I have tried this four times with no luck. When you shorten the timer to your desired timeframe, is that when you download it and then add it to other aspects of your project? I shortened it and then added it but it still shows 10 minutes. Help and thanks Sara.

Having a good microphone makes a big difference. I'm a big fan of both Rode and Deity who I've used. Also with a guest..having headphones is essential.

You can't remove the background of the video timer itself...but you can select your own background (from an image or photo, or video) and put the countdown timer video over that...
You can definitely make it longer than 10 minutes. A 24 hour countdown timer make cause Canva to freak out a little...but it's worth testing to see if you can export a file for that long.

Meaning when I send out the leaflet to prospective clients I'd like the video clip to automatically count down as soon as they open the pdf (to give the sense of urgency "Sale Counter"). Yes you can do this. You can add another video and then move the audio track to just cover the end of it.

It will cover both but you need to download the video twice so you have 2 licenses

Yes, in the 'videos' tab (left hand side), search for the keyword 'ten' and the 10 minute timer will show :)
