I was sauteeing up some nettles and garlic mustard on the fire and asked my partner to put some music on when we saw this video pop up - watched half of it and sent him out into the dark night garden to pick more nettles to make this bread - so excited! thanks for your magic as always
Definitely going to try this with the children at nursery. Plenty nettles in the woods we can collect, along with some wild garlic so might add that too!!
Hey Dane!! Long time no talk I actually looked you up on youtube to see if you still post educational videos because you havent posted a video on our FB group Pagans, Wiccans and Witches in quite a while, we've loosened up with our rules to allow videos of educational content to be shared by members any time and I would love to see you share these videos in group again if you dont mind?!?😃✨💞 the last one you shared was the Yew tree guide which was wonderful thankyou!! Always a pleasure to learn from your sharing of knowledge.
Thank you for another way to get revenge on my bitey nettles! You never fail to delight me as well as make me feel ever so slightly more intelligent… I cant wait to make some wonderful green bread!
OH I"m trying this one today, been harvesting/dehydrating stinging nettle for later use for allergies, now I"ll be dodging the rain to harvest for beard, love your videos, Thank You for taking the time to share
You inspired me, I went out and gathered my nettles and am going to try this! I usually use wheat flour and a bit of white, so I'm not sure yet how I'll approach it.❤
I dehydrate and powder my stinging nettles and sprinkle a small amount of the powder onto my meals as I prepare them as a nutrition boost. I find it does have a strong flavor if I add too much. I’m down to 1/4 of a half-pint jar, so I’m glad my nettle patch is springing to life again. Thanks for the recipe, I’m going to have to try it!
This sounds like a great idea, I'd like to try it. Presumably drying gets rid of the sting? Also, do you use only the very young leaves, or just any? What about stems?
Hi my dough is rising as I write this what heat do you have the oven at it looked like the middle shelf. I'v not made my own bread before it's quite exciting ⭐👍just an edit for anyone else who might be wondering I done a Google 220c in the middle of the oven for a normal loaf 🍞

I've got one for you...pickled magnolia flowers. They taste like pickled ginger.
We was going make some & the petals had blown away already 🤣
That sounds interesting! How do you do that please? Our daughter has just moved into a house with a huge magnolia tree in the garden.
@@denisetapscott2497 check out our latest fireweed pickles recipe, you can apply that recipe to the petals 😁
Could you do this with a sourdough loaf? I mean I don't see why not, but has anyone tried it?

Is the recipe documented somewhere, or will I have to transcribe the recipe from your video?
Sourdough would be healthier with organic spelt etc...🥰
