    William James was a pioneering American philosopher and psychologist who laid foundational theories in pragmatism and functional psychology. His work has profoundly influenced not only psychology but also philosophy and educational theory.

      Agreed. But I have difficulty with his writing style. I cannot define why, I just don't find it "reader friendly"

    Of course, the whole discussion of having a right to believe without justification only makes sense on the possibility that it might be immortal to believe without justification. (see Clifford, The Ethics of Belief)
