enjoyed this. i do tm. i recall remembering how similar it was to a micro dose too. you should do the course man, get it all done properly. peace out. andy, madrid.
I used to practice transandental meditation a few years ago, but I should really get back into it. I did it every day for about 6 months, for about 1 hour per day. I had two extremely deep meditations. One was after doing transendental meditation after meditating for two hours, and I was just in this place where I had no thoughts at all, and it was probably the first time in my life that I can remember where I existed without any thoughts. The other time Inwas actually on a small dose of psylocybin, about half a gram, and it was a cold winters day, but it was sunny, and I was on the beach and I was meditating with the sun on my face, and I felt extremely blissful and peaceful.
I learned TM from an local instructor back in 2018 and I have practiced at least once a day sometimes more often then others. But one thing I always notice is the calm and I also notice synchronicities around me.
I'll give him a "C", with demerits for not being initiated into TM (as taught by Maharishi's teachers). I'm a long time TM practitioner but will reveal a method by which you can "transcend" within a few weeks. That is, tapping into the transcendent Self or Sat-Chit-Ananda, and experiencing "Samadhi (Satori). No problem. Just access "Mahamritunjaya mantra - Sacred Sounds Choir", and "Om Namah Shivaya - Shivananda Adi". Listen to each for 5 min per day for two weeks and merge into the nondual Reality of the Multiverse - Pure Consciousness.
Nicole, definitely. What I have also found is that I no longer use my timer. When I have a timer in front of me at least to a little more anxiety about how long I have to meditate for. I found that if I don’t time it but just meditate until I feel that it’s been enough, it’s actually much more relaxing.
I personally dont have a problem sharing my mantra. If other people know it or use it, it doesn't bother me. The mantra I used the most before is Tu-la. It literly doesnt mean anything. I just made it up, but I think its good to have a mantra that sounds relaxing.
@@microdoseu Quite a lot of research on psilocybin going on at Hopkins and other institutions. Dr. Griffiths has a number of videos on YT. All the best. 🍄👍
Think meditation is viable AFTER clearing anxiety/depression. There is “mindful” or Vipassana as one modality, and mantra based like TM. Suggest mindfulness bc can practice in daily life. TM is less flexible and often charges to take sessions. Vipassana is Dana or donation based.
Really enjoy your content! I’ve been dealing with depression and social anxiety for some years now. After doing some research I decided I want to start microdosing, after how many days/months did you start noticing the positive effects?

I also notice synchronicities but they’re mostly not useful or practical

Dr. Dave, have you checked out the research on psilocybin and meditation done by Dr. Roland Griffiths at Johns Hopkins?
I have not seen that Tyger!

Jerry Seinfeld said he did it just once a day for 41 years! Doing twice a week can be hard for many
