India is leading when it comes to individual efforts to change our environment. Unlike those who cry to the government to make change, multiple individuals in India have been carrying out massive projects to impact and nurture the natural world. Cauvery Calling lead in South India and Project Green hands are two excellent examples of such revolutionary movements.
Unfortunately India is also leading in pollution of their environment so that kindof cancels each other out...

The way it used to rain in Mumbai during rainy season is no way comparable to the rains that are happening these years. We have seen where supply of drinking water has gone down drastically.
Some People who are criticizing this man, has not lived in Mumbai ever in his life.

You can be of great help by reducing waste and plant a tree or a crop.
You can just get an air-purifying sapling at your home and that is also enough help.
You don't have to donate, just do it by yourself. I'm doing it, I'm planting house plants, and some trees at home. If you have a yard, you can throw some fruit seeds or other kind of seeds.
Sadguru is planning to plant 1 trillion tree mention that also

Fyi..for decades Local Adivasis in and around Mumbai have been planting and nurturing forest without any financial and government help..they have been saving wild animals as well as surviving and struggling against this outside erosion into their ancestral land...greedy outside builders and non locals have ruined the forest and polluted this beautiful city...hats off to local Adivasis and indigenous communities..please support them directly..lots of respect and love to them..Jai Maharashtra🚩🚩🚩...Jai Shivray🙏

They barely credited sai man he pretty much single handedly raised the money with his friend and tanmays he was too humble and gave all the credit to other guys who did great but still guys he didn’t get the credit for the job he undertoook
i wish the metro issue had been better explained, i still don't know why the trees were cut in the first place.
From what they mentioned it seems like the cleared spot is going to be the service and solar farm part of a metro network. All the cabins will be stationed and serviced there when not in use.

Mumbai is already a flood prone area
. Doing ecological good in India is always going to be a complex problem. Some of the root cause of this is not just population but perhaps better infrastructure, more money and higher incomes can save us . A rich country can build higher and implement solutions for ecological change that a poor country can never think of . Building taller , getting richer , having more technology is perhaps the only solution and the more effective solution to the problems of growth and achieving sustainability of environment together with that growth . Otherwise balancing things is much much harder

I am working on delhi meerut expressway. Ghaziabad. Pakage IV . Not a single tree has been taken care of by considering that it has to be grown into full flegde tree. Only on paper work trees have been planted. Corruption exist with govt. officials. Pvt. Companies conscience have died long before.
He is trying to do better but they were not cutting the entire forest there is huge of lot misinformation people spreading but after the election new government has formed the cabinet and they also came with the same recommendation. Everyone will have to come together to help the government and if we can volunteer to fond place that is required for metro shed.
Please correct the intro, it was not BMC but Mr.Fadnavis led BJP govt started the chopping of Trees in Aarey...

Govt planted 22000 trees before cutting down 2500 trees ( they transplanted few of those 2500 trees). metro reduced the pollution and hence it is necessary. You can change the route but it will make the metro expensive and it will cover less crowded area. We need to consider long-term effect of every big movement. Emotions doesn't always work.
Ask the rich people who have gulf course in the same area to plant more trees there instead of bashing metro project. Rich people have cars so they don't need that metro but we as a common man need fast and efficient transportation.
chopping down 2200 trees do save 500 million isn't a bad decision. We can plant a thousand times more trees with that money. Go out of Mumbai and show any city which has thousand of trees in the city which is very common in Mumbai or Pune.

You would like something called Cauvery Calling which is same as team trees which started months before MrBeast started. People have donated money to plant 48,225,855 trees so far.

It isn't look that simple the way they are projecting it.when you find the real story is completely opposite. The protest is for the cemetery govt has given for burial will be now taken back to use it for metro . He didn't told that govt has already planted 10 times the trees chopped. He didn't told you that this project meet all the UN sustainable development goals guidelines. He didn't told you only 32 acre of land is chopped and it is man made forest by govt. He will not tell you that national park nearby has sent notice to film. City and royal palm who encroached the park's area which 15 times more than this. Royal palm and film city has encroached 457 acre of land. But i never saw them protesting . Now he says buy 5000 crore of land which will make this project unfeasible. Let me tell you this project was got green signal from high court supreme court, and national green tribunal. It is mere propaganda. Nothing else
