She takes absolutely no responsibility, wants no accountability; even actually says she "has no idea how she ended up in jail, as she was just having fun". Don't do drugs, kids. Angel seems like a real sweet heart. It's good you had her on here as I think her personality really conveys the core of what the rave community is like. Yeh Shaun and Peter were a part of it, but the roles they played as movers and shakers aren't what the average raver was doing. I think the general public ought to consider whether the laws are just or not when they are interfering with the lives of people who are pretty much normally functioning and who decide to do something other than just drink booze or smoke cigarettes. But we all know the government and agencies like the CIA, and DEA are making money hand over fist being the big movers of drugs and keeping certain things outlawed so there's a black market. Thanks for being brave and sharing some of your story Angel!

Julie Morrison she was high as a kite most of the time and it’s a long time ago. Someone asks me what happened at a rave or the week after and I wouldn’t recall. Know I had a good time though

Maybe she's done her best to block it out as the years have gone by, some people deal with stuff that way .

drug laws are sheer hypocracy probably their all on them while working for the systern.
It's intentional. Psychoactive substances always attract people. Beer has been around forever. The ruling class want to make excessive amounts of $$ off of it so they make it coming and going. They're the biggest movers and wholesalers, and they're the only ones controlling the prisons to lock people up over this bullshit. Most people are in confinement over drugs, which is a load of shit. But, they can't get that black market cash from any thing else because drugs sell themselves. They don't need slick advertising, although hollywood and the music industry have been tapped to help promote the stuff.

Seems Angel's either shy or has actively tried to blend out this period of her life. Probably also this is embarrassing for her. I agree this podcast seems frustrating but it must be very hard to go through this on a globally accessible platform and openly discuss such issues.
Umm.. I'm pretty sure based on "I don't know why I was in jail, I was just having fun like all kids do", this lady has taken no responsibility for her actions and how perhaps her long list of illicit drugs, Raving, and dealing or whatever she was doing working for Shaun (wasn't that basically implied.. she was in his 'company" or whatever euphemism they use). She doesn't want to take any accountability so of course she doesn't want to talk about any of the negative consequences.

My sister is the very first woman to go down on the 3 strikes your out law and the first woman to be released from it and boy does she have stories to be told. Running into Sammy the bull was not to hard to run into if you're trusted. My sister isn't as nice as you are. The Horseshoe AKA the Matrix. I used the bread as a pillow since it seemed like it was memory foam. When they just transfer you from one cell to another we call that getting stuck in the Matrix.
And Shaun. Those flyers that were confiscated! Some of them were real works of art, that could only in some cases, have been created by someone tripping out on Es, Trips or some other psychoactive drug. Just looking at some of them made you trip. No Wildman, the temptation may be strong but it would not be the same. Stay high on life.

United Kingdom immigration appears to be more lenient on letting people with convictions in than American immigration, I visited UK before my convictions, Last year I cleared Japanese customs, on the form I filled out it asked if I had any criminal convictions I checked “no”.
This was a fascinating insight into the US prison system from a female perspective. Angel sounded so relieved to have been released and home and returning to normal stuff like having your own privacy again. Sounds like you all had so much fun at that time. The part about sexual favours in return for preferential treatment and drugs sounds extremely corrupt. Having a tattoo done with makeshift equipment doesn't sound like a good idea. Personally I don't like tattoos at all.

Hmmm, well I wonder if her actions had anything to do with her 'nightmare'. Contrary to her perception, her activities were not what the average American kid next door is participating in. She "doesn't know why she ended up in jail". Perhaps the long list of illicit drugs, hanging out with friends of Sammy the Bull and having Raves as your main social activity might have something to do with that. Kids who are pursuing the "American Dream" are probably in the library on Friday night, studying for finals; working; and not frying their brains with any and every man made substance - which clearly have affected this woman's ability to reason.
Angel seems super sound, mist people who like techno are tho! Hope she comes back on for some wildman party stories!!

I know it's been years since she went to prison. Personally I've never been there thank God, but if I ever did I would remember every single minute , second, hour, incident Etc. She doesn't remember anything and she laughs through the whole thing like it's a big joke and she's not all that believable. I believe she was in jail cuz there's proof of that obviously but the way she describes it and has no memory of anything and has to be prompted and reminded all the time just seems disingenuine to me. Sorry first interview or podcast that I did not enjoy
I agree, I was looking forward to hearing more of her story; if Shaun didn't help lead her and fill in the context and information; I would not have understood anything. However, she appears to be very nervous. Some people laugh when they are nervous. I've been a guest on a you tube channel several times, a much smaller channel, and I was very nervous!! I don't laugh, but I do the opposite of her, I talk fast and go off on tangents, lol. Anyway, point is - I was more nervous than I thought I would be, it was strange talking to people out there who you don't see.
I've also never been to prison, but I would say I've had 2 very traumatic experiences in my life; and I don't remember many details. I also have not tried to, it's a coping mechanism to push those memories away, and at this point in my life, seems like a good thing. Shaun knows her and her experience, so I'm sure her experience is legit. People deal with trauma in different ways.

He was her ONLY saving grace. She flew all the way to London to give a trainwreck interview. Just was odd,that's all. You obviously have no idea how traumatic prison time is, particularly in the hell that was Arizona. And trauma is a strange thing. If 10 horrifying things and one amazing thing happens in your childhood, there's a good chance you'll only remember the one amazing thing years later. The mind compensates for horrific shit. Shaun blogged while in prison so he literally recorded each significant event. Wildman is his best friend and even he gets stuff wrong the whole time. Don't judge her patchy memory, it's how our minds work.
Edit: Plus there's a prison philosophy called "say nothing and say it often". Maybe Angel has never forgotten that way of thinking.
