I am really impressed to see that you have your horse feeders on the ground. It keeps them eating the natural way. One of the girls I worked with at a dude ranch in Colorado was from Iowa. Very well presented video.

I know of many who should listen to your great advice. Your compatibility with your fellow riders is important. I'm selective nowadays. Thank you!

I really love riding with people who are out to have a fun and a pleasant ride. Even when they have a green horse that is behaving like a squirrel, they are calm and still smiling as they work through what they need to...they take things in stride and are not putting down other riders and horses who might be struggling.

Great video & really good tips. I like it when a rider will check with everyone if it’s ok to have a trot or canter along here, in case anyone that doesn’t want to go faster has someone to stay with them or have everyone continue to walk. People can be nervous, on a nervous horse or a green/young horse.
Video idea: I’d love to see a video or 2 on your horses, your sisters horses/friends horses. Their name/breed/backgrounds/type of riding or work that they’ve done etc….id love to know all about the horses! Thank you for your videos, I love them!

Thank you for the ideas. Have you watched my Sonitalena Doc videos? I did a series on my new horse, Doc. Hmmmm...maybe I'll make videos for the other gelding too....

Thank you for this video! I almost always ride by myself with my saddle horse and one pack horse. I would like to know trail manners so I don't annoy others in a group! Packing is so fun and amazing but I'm never with more than one other person usually. Anyway, thank you!

Really good tips and solid trail etiquette advice! We practice during the riding season to space ourselves out, weave our horses through the others and trade places all the while maintaining our space from each other so that our horses will be comfortable in any position! My horse starts out wanting to be in front but he will go where I put him but then after 10 to 20 minutes will not be concerned wherever he is in the group. I really appreciate this video Beth. All great reminders! We use Maprika, any better apps out there you would suggest? Thanks in advance! 🤠🐴 Yes a good mapper is key!! It is a huge responsibility!

Thank you, Laurie. I really like Garmin's Earthmate app. It can be used with or without the Garmin device. We used Rambler in Virginia and Tennessee. It was helpful but a bit slow to update sometimes.
