Oh man, love the hand tool upgrade!!!! Agreed they can be vague sometimes, but even if it’s only saws and paint at first it opens a door for the moders. Giants opens a door and the awesome moders take it from there!!! Can’t wait! Sooo can’t wait.
This is something I like. Giants need to put more stuff like this in game. Stuff like manual attach, crop germination, crop moisture, crop rotation, bale rotting, etc
Love the hand tools idea, hope they add in Jet Wash, Tool Box, Torch and would be amazing if they did Hammer and Nails so you could fix fencing after a storm or a trowel for walls.

Did not have that in my list of expected features. The hand-tools at least, the bale consumables were mentioned before. So many smaller things I am still looking forward to. Like the build-mode / terrain manipulation or the vehicle maintenance or just how animals need to be fed and kept clean. They tend to tool around with those elements and they are all slightly different in every FS iteration. Super keen on learning more.
It would be great if we could have farm machinery service items in the sheds/garages i.e. oil filters, air filters, grease guns etc. And, yes, very excited. It feels like Christmas is coming :D
Nice vlog. Was it my imagination or with the hand tools was there a brush at the end of the bench which had spray paint on? It looked like it may be a brush for horse grooming.
I noticed the horse grooming brush was also on the bench with the tree marker cans. Hopefully there's a place in the stables to keep it instead of always going to a shed
It's cool having to actually go get your chainsaw and put it on your vehicle it's really adds some roleplay opportunities and I can't wait to see what modders do with all these new features!!
Now this is big to me. The fact you put an item in a place mean modders can go to town. Like putting fuel in a tractor from the out side. I would think it could be done
Did you notice the American style Volvo VNL? It also struck me that the game is adding 3rd person but might actually be better played in 1st person. With the real hand tools.
Are we going to get an in game tool box, for vehicle repair? Memory blank was it ingame in 22.. Better yet, are we going to get a repair truck, What are they going to keep back for release day.. it better be a biggy, yes that’s a real word
Nice little feature there. A little disappointed that they haven't rounded off those bales yet though - I know there's mods out there to achieve the effect but just wonder why giants haven't added it at base game!
@MrSealyP There was also a brush on the table with the paint spray cans to clean horses with.
The bales still have them hard edges , wish they wpuld use the modders more round bales

Should make the edges of the round bales more curved instead of perfectly square
Well that definitely adds a lot more realism.
It opens up repairs for equipment using tools and even changing tires just visually by modders.
Hopefully we can get impacts, grinders, ect to do repairs

Honestly it's taken them long enough, I have a Mod Bailer for FS15 that needs Bailer Twine and Wrapping Roles to be loaded before use.

The only hand tool I want is a fishing rod. I do wish that they didn't add new "features" that just make the game more tedious to play.
It’s called farming simulator. They should add more stuff that make the game more difficult and more interesting to play. This is not GTA.
