Batman vr was an amazing game. RE 4 Remake VR is probably the best video game I have ever played.
I watched every interview with Servios leading up to the release and never did i think Alien RI was going to be like isolation? Servios clearly stated numerous times this is more Aliens than Alien. I'm gobsmacked by the reviews by most of the youtubers? I honestly feel the negativity is because of Servios saying it was Part one just prior to release because the game itself is amazing. It should be at least an 8.5. They absolutely nailed the atmosphere and feeling of the franchise. The story is solid and i cannot wait to get into part 2 if and when its released. I really feel bad for Servios, they dont deserve the negativity.
They brought it on themselves by stealthily adding "part 1' to the title without any explanation, and when people noticed it and started asking they were initially ignored.
It was a PR disaster of their own making, and the game did not support Virtual Desktop and Steam Link on release.
Agree with you it's a fantastic game 8.5 from me too. So much better than the casual vr crap that comes out. I think negativity comes from not being on meta yet. Some meta content creators not being able to profit off alien with using their affiliate codes and some content creators so used to casual vector games they can review and profit from fast they don't want bigger better looking vr games they have to put time into.
Uncharted, last of us etc all have multiple part 1 and 2s etc. As far as I am concerned give me a trilogy of alien vr, each better than the previous. We should be rewarding companies like servios rather than scaring them away from the vr market. Just follow channels like virtual strangers for honest opinions.

How often do we get incredible franchised games like this in the high end VR space these days? Almost never and for 'influences' to sht on it for one silly decision is ridiculous. What matters is the game itself and from start to finish I had a blast. I really hope they sell enough to make a sequel. It would be such a shame if they didn't 🤞
I personally don't care what who said what, I either like the game play loop or I don't. There are literally hundreds of factors in a game play session and why should my expectations dictate what a game should be, I didn't make it.

I just defeated night scraper and that was probably the coolest thing I’ve experienced in vr. For me the time in between shacklehyde and nightscraper was fine for me. I love taking my time and exploring. I was excited to get to the next behemoth, but I really enjoy the combat and traversal decisions you can make.
I did play on the normal difficulty and I’m sure that makes a big difference. I love that you can fast travel to whatever location if you missed anything as well. I am a completionist so I’m not trying to finish at any good pace.🙂
2:25:07 I totally agree with everything you guys are saying. Behemoth is an awesome game but could be that much better with those added touches. They’ve got a great framework to go off of for behemoth 2. S&s with co-op would be so cool. Scavenging with a friend or two would be great.

I had already decided to get Alien RI once it's been properly patched and appreciate your unbiased yet somewhat different takes on it. I'm not big on melee either but hearing Ruuts's experience is reassuring. Am looking forward to eventually playing both Alien and Behemoth
If an action game gets my adrenaline to rise up consistently, that's a hard thing to do. So if that happens, it's definitely not just a good action game, it's a great action game! Anything else is a bonus or not important.
I bought Krispain before it was delisted. The screen shots were so effing funny. Armored medieval rats and shit, lol. Still havent booted it up yet.
Ruuts is spot on with his comments on behemoth not "flowing" on Day 1. I made it far without abusing the strength mode but the game just didnt feel right. Started a new file with the Day 7 patch and it was such an improvement. I think they nerfed enemies a bit too much but the feel of combat was greatly improved. I really enjoyed Behemoth.

Vr is heading in the right direction but headsets need to be much lighter with micro oled lenses for the adoption speed to greatly increase.
For the few people who watch this today and read this comment, Hot Wheels Unleashed is free today on Epic. I believe it was Roots who liked the UEVR mod with it. Free quality VR is always cool 😎 lol
Your so right about used cards. Any used electronics is risky. Intermittent problems can happen. I teach piano and keyboard. I tell my students never buy a used electric keyboard. Buy new. That's good advice for all electronics.
I know it’s beyond most reviewers to completely remove bias but some of the dumb reviews I have watched and read for Alien RI really surprise me. And frankly I think there’s reviewers out there who are scoring it low just because it’s been delayed on Quest. 🧔🏻♂️
Yeah crazy right? One of the stupidest views I heard from quite a few was that it felt like a flat screen game converted to a VR game? How they got to this just baffles me? Literally every interaction is VRAF, not a single button press interaction. Full physics based game , full body IK, manual reloading etc etc.. Such a weird view? It's hard enough to get developers to make games for the VR space and why would you when you put out one of the top 5 games easily this year and get sht on for nothing? Crazy

@@boybrownvr6522 you’ve clowned yourself. I referred to some reviewers not all. Tho Bryan Paul is well on the record with his bias towards certain game types. I mean, Ancient Dungeons a 10/10 game? Objectively? Come on. He was simply disappointed this wasn’t an Alien Isolation game and so he’s scored it lower.

PC version of Alien: Rogue Incursion is 5/10, maybe 6/10 max. It works on SteamVR api only, no OpenXR (black screen). It's quite stuttery even with reprojection enabled at least on my rig (5700X3D/32/4070TIS/NVME/G2). Graphics looks like it's been ported directly from Quest 3 as textures look awful even on Epic settings and face animations resemble 20 years old games.
I get the general complaint about youtubers being clickbaity! But Bryan from withoutparole is NOT that ! And he gave it a 7! Maybe there's just a difference of opinions on these games! ( (although I think Bryans score of Alien would be higher and his score of Subside would be lower if both of these games came in a time with less games coming out, and thus less stress for him)

Best ongoing support for a vr game, my opinion is green hell should be removed because they abandoned the pcvr version.
I bought a new psvr2 but it has a very strong plastic odor that makes my stomach ill anybody knows a way I can get rid of the strong plastic odor I washed it a few times but the odor doesn't go away 😂😂
It will have been freshly manufactured and the plastics are 'de-gassing' - just stick it out in the open somewhere for a few days until it calms down

U might “gain” 1% by doing that to games, but youll lose more than that in vr players by essentially just making them flat games in a headset
I went straight into Arashi after finishing Behemoth, its pretty wild how similar those games are, and its a damn shame that PSVR2 Arashi is slept on. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
