Man, I would never K swap a GSR unless it had a blown engine, especially not one with such low miles. Mine has 390k miles all original drivetrain. Daily (or mostly daily) for nearly 24 years now. I have a nice streetable OEM+ suspension setup, and I still love cracking VTEC on every on-ramp.
This feels like deja vu. I swapped my white 2000 integra back in 2019. I drove a stock b series integra the other day and It made me appreciate how much better the k swap makes the car. The power increase is a given, but even down to the shifter feel is better in every way. I truly belive those that think the b series is better have never driven a properly swapped k car. I can't say anything negative about the b series, but the k just does everything better.
I completely agree. I have sold my k powered car and gone to a 5 speed rd1 crv. They are worthless over here and i can still enjoy it the same way as any other golden era honda. Ive had a lot of fun doing small upgrades. BC coilovers, AWD delete, 4kg flywheel etc
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving always enjoy your videos glade you came back to making content again being watching your channel for awhile sence the hsg speed odometer shirt you made along time along 😂
I actually bought a used 95 Integra LS in 2001 that I kept even after I bought a 05 WRX. It's been a great daily beater that I have enjoyed driving all these years. Now I want to keep it and restore it into a Spoons Sports replica.
Good sh!t. I'm doing my kswap in February. Just purchased some more items. Including the insane shafts. They're overkill for my swap atm. I'm doing a basic swap. But future profing the build. I'm looking forward to more content. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺✌️😎
11:18 i see youre using this undermount shifter. I have a 2007 TSX hybrid racing shifter. can i use this for the integra swap or should I sell it and buy this one you metioned?
I have a DC2-R in similar condition, totally original car but with 176k miles on it. I'm tempted to K24 that for the same reasons. If anything failed on my B18C6, I'm pretty much screwed because of hard to find parts. It would have to be worth my while though as despite the mileage, the engine is a gem.
Does the car still have the original exhaust? If so, would it be for sale? I'm looking to remove the catback on my 94 GSR and replace with stock parts.
I really enjoy your channel. My question is. I'm currently looking for a 1992-95 Honda Civic coupe and a 1994-2001 Acura Integra. I've been looking everywhere and can find a great condition one with good low miles. Any suggestions would be great? Thank you.
Back in 2001 I was also debating weather to buy a used Integra LS or an EK Civic hatchback. I ended up choosing the Integra simply because it was better equipped than the Civic and it already had started 4 wheel disc brakes, sway bars and a decent engine that didn't need to be swapped because it was underpowered. If you really like the 92-95 Civic try to find and EX coupe or a Si hatchback as those came with 4 wheel disc brakes, sway bars and a little more power.
@@popclutch_100 You might have to search further outside your area to find what you are looking for. I did a search on FB marketplace and found a 95 EX coupe that already has B16a motor swap done with 95k miles for $9k in N VA.
Was looking good until I say you install that shifter extender. I hate those I'm super old school and don't like a simi truck shifter in a Honda. Might as well purchase a truck or semi. I'd put a skunk2 short shifter and a jdm itr shift knob, done. No need for ugly and tall shift extender's even if they feel better.
A B16B and a B18C6 are legendary engines and dependent on the region very expensive nowadays, also the maintenance costs of a B series exeedes the costs of a K series but always remember you drive a B series for sound and K series for power. But Hondas were made for Touge anyway so you dont need that much power on a downhill anyway just a good handling light car with a decent amount of power.
@@Maisgarage Did the honda thing in the mid 00s, had the 2nd H2B swap in my state, multiple bseries cars, just never owned a kseries, i did what youre doing now 13+ years ago. Ive just out grown sub 300 whp cars, there not fast these days, relative to whats out there. You can go buy a pony car and slap on a tire and get the same performance as these kswap cars.
Im just so fucking happy mark posted... it had been a while, but thank u mark... for keeping HSG alive....

@@joe_rd1 I got a shell for 400 and manual swapped my RD1, it's a blast especially awd launching
she is clean.... I am enjoying my 95 Civic coupe. I am keeping mine all stock.
Stock is fine but swap and turbo and with the right suspension, it can be s monster and still drive like stock if you stay out out of boost..
@ i’m waiting for EV conversions to come down in price. that will be a real monster upgrade. lol
@@HiFiInsider no Comments lol after that.

FINALLY INTEGRA CONTENT. cheers mate
Locked in for this one!
Oh my gawd.. another 100000 video on k swapping part 1… so original
Gotta love GSRs but Ks definitely gives the car what it needs
I had 2001 integra gsr in white. I wish I still had that car.

Can you show us how you wired the car i would really help thank you!!!
I hate that I want to sell my mint gsr and k24 swap my ek 😂😂😂😂 it's a blast in a lighter chassis but like you said replacement is like 5k....😢
That's what I would actually prefer to do instead.
Currently doing this exact setup! Can you please be specific on installing the conversion harness 🙌🏽 that’s where I’m most concerned 🤦🏻♂️
Nice job mark. ✌🏻🇳🇱

Good stuff Mark - if the owner decides to go kpro, could you do some in depth content on setup, please? E.g sensor setup (TPS, IACV, Oil pressure).
Does the car still have the original exhaust? If so, would it be for sale? I'm looking to remove the catback on my 94 GSR and replace with stock parts.
need help i got stuck on the wirering
🔥
How many miles on the BC1 and are you selling it?
How much cost a k swap for a Integra LS?
If you ever decide to sell I’m interested 🙏🏽 would go nice with my feels fa5 civic

Damn too bad the swap is sold 😫😫😫😫
Starts off the video by telling us how bad the car is. But never gave us a good reason why it’s bad
The suspension setup

The owners' sentiment is L-F tier
Throw all them b series in the trash 🗑️
Why

But Hondas were made for Touge anyway so you dont need that much power on a downhill anyway just a good handling light car with a decent amount of power.
To be fair B series engines are good platforms for boost!
B series are worth more than k series and more rare lol…. And the fastest awd Honda is a b series lmao
You are seriously mental for saying such a dumb thing. But then again it sounds like you're trolling on here, right? I thought so.
The owner is stupid. Go k swap a LS. It’s stock already. Doesn’t even have major mods on it. Leave it original, they’re rare enough as is.
One great way to ruin a Gem 🤦♂️😅..

Did this a while ago and had to sell mine cause it really wasnt as good as the internet made it seem, very over rated platform.
That’s what happens when you don’t know what you’re doing or maybe you’re just trolling…
