He's aware of his background n who his dad is n where his family is from. He is shouldering the burden of his family on his shoulder. That's kind of a point of the scene in s6 ep 2 where he overhears Carmen n Johnny's convo. The SK takes the burden away from his family and ensures a good future for his family. He's fighting not just for him, but his family
I think the quality your looking for is the edge and aura of an anti-hero. Like, obviously we know he’s got heart, and guts, but the last 2 seasons felt more like a babyfaced protagonist from an American sports movie. It’s felt like he’s just doing what he’s supposed to do as the lead good guy, where as in seasons 1-3 Miguel was given just enough gray that u could honestly empathize with him no matter what he chose to do. That’s what captivated us the most and it’s why we see so many edits of Season 1 and 2 Miguel, people wanting to see that kind of energy return to him, that edge of an anti-hero. They think that the current Miguel is a lil too mellowed out to take down an absolute menace to society like Kwon, who’s got the sufficient skill to be the bully that bullies see themselves as.
For me, the Miguel from season 4 did not exist and the one from season 5 only appeared in episode 5 only, he really hasn't been able to shine much since the 1st, i still think that this season belongs to Miguel, although everything seems to indicate that Robby will be the finalist of the tournament

It honestly feels Miguel was just there in season 4. and in season 5 the Mexico ark I didn’t like. if they are setting up hector coming back then fine but if they aren’t I feel they dropped the ball on that. And in season 6 I don’t really care abt the college stuff. So it feels for me at least the last few seasons he hasn’t done a lot. The first 3 seasons Miguel was essential to the plot now it feels like he’s almost on the sideline sometimes. This might just be me tho.

Unrelated to the video. I think you give Hawk too much criticism for being a bully and a menace in s2 and s3. For s2, Johnny taught Hawk and Miguel "no mercy," and they find out Robby is his son and when they confronted Johnny about it he told them it was none of there business. Of course, later we see.Johnny give miguel a pep talk about this and they have a heart toheart moment, and miguel understands johnny trying to show mercy. Meanwhile, Hawk never got that moment in his mind. Johnny got soft because he saw his son get hurt. And when Hawk sees his best friend Miguel get kicked off the railing for showing mercy, he believes no mercy is the only way. And he probably had alot of Trauma from seeing that happen to Miguel. And you can almost see it in season 3 when he broke Dimitris arm it was because he didn't want himself or his friends to get hurt because he didn't finish the fight. Hawks thing is that he wants to get stronger to protect people he cares about. Another example is when he realized he was on the wrong side with Robby and Kyler people who hurt his friends, and when he looked over at Dimitri getting beaten. It's like something snapped in his head, then he rushed over to protect Dimitri.

If Kwon does any of these, it will show Miyagi-Do that Kreese has told Kwon about their history; an attack on their bodies and minds.

My theory for Miguel wearing the captain’s headband is that Robby will get jumped by Kwon and the other Cobra’s outside of the tournament. With his head already in a bad place because of Tory being in Cobra Kai and now having a slight injury Robby Will decide to pull out of the tournament and hand the captain role to Miguel. Miguel will fight alongside Sam in the duo’s division but when it comes time for the boys division Miguel will hand it back to Robby and tell him he earned the right to be captain so now he should finish it. Robby goes onto beat Kwon then Miguel gets his big win in part 3. Or perhaps they just filmed stuff with Miguel as captain to confuse people incase of leaks.
My theory is this 😊 Robby has a scratch on his left cheek as we saw. So we also saw that Viper technique. Kwon will use it on robby and puts him in a hospital. That's when Johnny has enough of defense and we see the scene with Daniel and Johnny in Barcelona and Johnny walks away. So he will take miguel and Devon probably and fight with his own CK again, as we saw in pic. There is a rumor that one CK won't show mercy on Kwon and that has to be miguel. In the final he could be about to finish off Kwon but stops at the end and we have a draw like in best of the best movie. Still the world sees him as a true champ. I had that idea for robby but the pics say otherwise

As a Miguel fan I think he should win it. I think that the Robby has never won thing is over after he beat Miguel so he got his win. Since the captains go straight to the finals, I think how Miguel will be the captain is he wins all his matches and win the Semis which leads to Robby vs Kwon. If Robby wins that’s good too but I think Miguel will be the World Champion.

Miguel's story is pretty similar to Daniel's story. Came from the bottom and fought to the top. Daniel in the All Valley, Miguel in the Sekai Taikai

I think there gonna be a crazy fight. Sam VS tory. Robby vs kwon. Miguel agaisnt someone who turns out stronger than Kwon himself
My theory for Miguel wearing the captain’s headband is that Robby will get jumped by Kwon and the other Cobra’s outside of the tournament. With his head already in a bad place because of Tory being in Cobra Kai and now having a slight injury Robby Will decide to pull out of the tournament and hand the captain role to Miguel. Miguel will fight alongside Sam in the duo’s division but when it comes time for the boys division Miguel will hand it back to Robby and tell him he earned the right to be captain so now he should finish it. Robby goes onto beat Kwon then Miguel gets his big win in part 3.
Or perhaps they just filmed stuff with Miguel as captain to confuse people incase of leaks.
My theory is this 😊
Robby has a scratch on his left cheek as we saw. So we also saw that Viper technique. Kwon will use it on robby and puts him in a hospital. That's when Johnny has enough of defense and we see the scene with Daniel and Johnny in Barcelona and Johnny walks away. So he will take miguel and Devon probably and fight with his own CK again, as we saw in pic. There is a rumor that one CK won't show mercy on Kwon and that has to be miguel. In the final he could be about to finish off Kwon but stops at the end and we have a draw like in best of the best movie. Still the world sees him as a true champ. I had that idea for robby but the pics say otherwise
Miguel will get to the semi-finals and lose, first, because he may still have issues with his back injury from Season 2 and secondly, because his father might come back to see him.

As a Miguel fan I think he should win it. I think that the Robby has never won thing is over after he beat Miguel so he got his win. But I mainly feel like Miguel winning would complete Johnny and Miguel arc bc the story is all about sharing your wisdom to the next generation and to show that maybe Johnny is a good inspiration to kids and I feel like the best way to show that is if Miguel wins bc he has been with Johnny this entire series following ALL of his ideologies and been with him the entire series. It just also feels like Miguel has gotten into karate to show the bullies of the woke he ain’t afraid but Robby got into character as an antagonist, find balance, and to get back at his dad. Robby winning isn’t bad but to act like the show is bad if he doesn’t like him winning is only a fan service thing bc if you think about it his arc ended at the end of s4 same with hawk. Tory Sam and Miguel are the only teens who need finishing right now.

S5 he didn’t do anything and in s6 his second place thing was introduced, which is just something to keep him interesting this season. Same with the hawk and demetri thing. Tory, Sam, and Miguel need finishing from s3 till now
Miguel's gonna win. His eyes have Cobra Kai written all over them now. Dohk Sa's presence at the sekai taikai just brought out El Serpiente in him. Don't be fooled by the MiYagi-Do gis. Robby, Miguel, and Hawk are going full Cobra Kai. You're gonna see a whole team of Cobras in MiYagi-Do gis. They're gonna rip Kwon and Yoon. Kreese's gonna regret manipulating Tory again and pissing off Robby, Miguel, and Hawk. When this is over, Kwon's and Yoon's own mothers won't even recognize them.
Since the captains go straight to the finals, I think how Miguel will be the captain is he wins all his matches and win the Semis which leads to Robby vs Kwon. Kwon will badly injure Robby and since Miguel wasnt eliminated, I think that’s when Miguel takes Robby’s place and fights Kwon and defeats him. It won’t be easy but I think Miguel will win. If Robby wins that’s good too but I think Miguel will be the World Champion.

Robby’s arc was already completed , he made amends with his father . Miguel needs to win to prove himself he said it himself . He needs a win . I feel like thw writers gave Robby the victory for team captain , because Miguel was winning the sekai Takai
