I absolutely believe the hadith and I absolutely see no problems nor conflicts with it and I honorably respect women and see them as intelligent as men and that they're physiologically different.
Summary(Important Notes) of The Stories of The Prophets- 19. The Story of Adam (Pt. 7): The Creation of Ḥawā Mention of Hawa:- In the Qur’an and Sunnah, the Ayahs and Hadiths about Hawa are very few. In the Qur’an, there are four Ayahs where Hawa has been referenced- 1. Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 1. 2. Surah Al-Anaam, Ayah 98. 3. Surah Al-Araaf, Ayah 89. 4. Surah Az-Zumar, Ayah 6. The name ‘Hawa’ is not found in the Qur’an. It is found in earlier books saying that Hawa is called Hawa because it is from “Hayy” and that means living. So Hawa is the mother of all living things. We can’t say if this was reported. In the Sunnah, the name ‘Hawa’ is mentioned in one of two Hadiths(Sunan At-Timidhi and Sahih Bukhari). So it is her name. Abu Hurairah narrated, that the Prophet(SAW) said, “Were it not for the children of Isreal, meat would never become infested. And were it not for Hawa, no wife would betray the interest of her husband.” (Sahih Bukhari) Creation of Hawa:- The Qur’an only says “from him”. The Hadith gives us more details- 1. Abu Hurairah narrated, the Prophet(SAW) said “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not irritate his neighbor and [he(SAW) advised us to] treat women with kindness because they were created from a Rib and the most crooked thing of a Rib is its highest point. So if you try to straighten it, you will break the rib. If you leave it, the rib shall remain crooked. Therefore, treat women with kindness.” (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) 2. In another version of the same narration of Abu Hurairah, the Prophet(SAW) said “Verily, women were created from a Rib. She will not be in a straight line, so if you benefit from her, you will benefit while she is still shaped like the rib. If you attempt to straighten her, you will break her, and breaking her is divorcing her.” (Sahih Muslim) A. From this genre of Hadiths, most of our scholars have understood that Hawa was created from the rib of Adam(AS). An interpretation from such Hadiths is taken that women are spiritually inequivalent to men or that women are second class to men. One explicit thing is that the goal of such Hadiths is to better the treatment of women by men and to better their status in society. The Prophet(SAW) is teaching men to be compassionate and gentle towards women. B. A very small minority of scholars reject Hadiths completely. This is a fairly modern notion. The pre-modern groups accept Hadith but don’t accept the Sunni methodology of preserving and/or interpreting the Hadith and books of Hadith - I. The Shia and the Mu’tadazilah group say that Hawa was created from clay and not from Adam’s rib. II. Another strand is Sunni Muslims(Rationalists) who accept Hadiths but do not accept this particular Hadith(Hawa being created from Adam’s rib). They say this is because this Hadith does not seem to come from the Prophet(SAW) but it seems to come from Judeo-Christian sources. They claim that these sources could have crept into Hadith so instead of an earlier scholar saying this, it became the Prophet(SAW) saying this. Their evidence: 1. Ka’b Al-Ahbar (a real figure from a tribe of Rabis) who converted to Islam during the Caliphate of Abu Bakr. He migrated from Yemen to Madinah 2 years after the death of the Prophet(SAW). He became a storyteller and a teacher of Biblical folklore and one of his main students was Abu Hurairah. 2. Imam Muslim narrates with authentic isnad from one of the students of Abu Hurairah, the student said that Abu Hurairah would narrate from the Prophet(SAW) and Ka’b. The people sitting in the gathering would mix up what is from the Prophet(SAW) and what is from Ka’b. 3. Ibn Katheer (and Ibn ‘Asaqir) mention Sho’bah (a famous scholar of Hadith) says that Abu Huraira(RA) mixes up what he heard from whom and he doesn’t differentiate between this and that. Conclusion: The second group claims this Hadith is from Judeo-Christian sources and Hawa was created from clay. III. Another strand of Sunn Muslims believes this Hadith is legitimate and authentic, and that the Prophet(SAW) said it. However, they say that the interpretation is wrong. They say that Hawa wasn’t mentioned in the Hadith and that the ‘women being created from the rib of men’ is a metaphor. The metaphor is simply there to explain that women and men are different and that men shouldn’t expect women to be straight. They say that Hawa was created from clay. The Minority Opinion is the same from all three groups: Hawa is created from clay. When it comes to the Hadith, the minority groups have their different reasonings. But when it comes to the Qur’an, all three groups respond the same way - The interpretation of “من”(from) in “from him” is not done correctly. In the Arabic language, this preposition has over 40 meanings and the meaning varies from context to context, even the context can be undefinable so it can have multiple meanings in one context. The majority of scholars interpreted the “من”(from) as the preposition that is ‘extraction from (part of the whole)’. The minority of scholars say that the preposition here is the preposition of source, i.e, created from the same material. To support their claim, they mention that the Qur’an itself refers to man and woman, and in there, this same phrase is used but it doesn’t mean “from the man”, rather, it means “from the same source/origin(clay) as the man”. When was Hawa created? No explicit time is mentioned. Scholars have derived that Hawa was created after the creation of Adam(AS) and the teaching of all names to Adam(AS) and prostration to Adam(AS) but before the entering of Jannah. This is derived from the chronology of Ayahs in Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-A’raaf, and Surah At-Taha. This timing of Hawa being created before Adam(AS) entered Jannah shows us the default need of a human to want a peaceful and loving companionship and, thus, the main purpose of marriage. Some scholars say - Even Jannah is not quite Jannah without a beautiful marriage. This ends the entire summary. Anyone who thinks I have missed some point is welcome to reply but please give the time in the lecture when Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi talked about it so that I can be sure. JazakaAllah Khair

Mention of Hawa:-
In the Qur’an and Sunnah, the Ayahs and Hadiths about Hawa are very few. In the Qur’an, there are four Ayahs where Hawa has been referenced-

The name ‘Hawa’ is not found in the Qur’an. It is found in earlier books saying that Hawa is called Hawa because it is from “Hayy” and that means living. So Hawa is the mother of all living things. We can’t say if this was reported.

Abu Hurairah narrated, that the Prophet(SAW) said, “Were it not for the children of Isreal, meat would never become infested. And were it not for Hawa, no wife would betray the interest of her husband.” (Sahih Bukhari)
Creation of Hawa:-
The Qur’an only says “from him”. The Hadith gives us more details-
