Wonderful performance, classical dancers are underrated in India, I can feel every second how much practice, hard work and skills it had taken to choreograph and perform such masterpiece.

So true. It takes years of practice and dedication to dance at this level of performance. Also, I will also add that these dancers are in excellent physical condition. It takes so much of physical stamina to dance these classical dances.
Unfortunately in today's India the western way of dance is desirable with dress that hardly covers the body.
Totally agree with you! It’s all abt Nora And these vulgar dancing styles.. it’s embarrassing sitting with your parents, kids watching these new dance styles. Traditional/ classics dancing is so beautiful !!!

Enjoyed this a lot, but why the next level has to be even quicker and quicker, I notice this tendency for years already... Seems to be about speed only, grace suffers. It is temple dance after all
One of the best group choreographies I've ever witnessed... Everything was perfect... Choreography, Lines, perfection, coordination, formation, costumes and jewelry, location.... Everything has synchronized very well to give this jaw dropping output.... Can imagine how much of a practice they must have had... Hats off to all the dancers and the choreographer... I just watched this in one breath!!!!! Myself as a classical dancer i really can understand the "pain" behind this masterpiece 🥺🥺 Feeling jealous to be honest ❤️❤️❤️
my daughter in 1st standard... has option of choosing between classical and western dance for dance period in her school... she is so young and very active (keeps movingall the time).. she also doesn't understand much about the difference so we opted for western for this year...
After watching this video , when i told her that this is classical related... she listened silently ... abd and during the next dance class , she went to her class teacher and asked her to change to classical.. the teacher got confused and called me from school.. i was shocked to receive call from her at school hours.. she asked me if she has to change and asked me to send letter next day.. and after talking to my daughter i changed the option and sent a letter
my request to all classical dancers is to upgrade old forms.. with new technologies like right music (this has the elecric punch of rock) .. cinematography capturing synchronization etc.. so that it is appealing to new audience... like this one

What I love about this performance is that not only is each dancer great _individually_ but how in sync they are with each other _as a group._ Bharatanytyam with fast paced music can look very chaotic even when each dancer looks good individually. But the choreography and dancing is so on point with these young women, it's a demonstration of how beautiful this dance can be when done right. It takes a tremendous amount of practice and passion. Congratulations all you 👏

This is magnificent. The choreography was a next level thing.. The energy was infectious as in it made my legs trembling and a next level perfection it was.. Every beat needed a lot of concentration as it moves very fast and you guys nailed it ... I would say it as a top notch performance. 💜

This is mindblowing. I have seen so many pieces from dancers where they have choreographed and fused bharatanatyam with hip hop tunes etc which to be honest did not sit well with me as I felt the pieces did not align with Natya Shastra, as the pieces were set to obscene and explicitly sexualised lyrics. But this piece fuses modern instruments whilst maintaining the sacred chants and sollukattu. THIS IS THE TYPE OF FUSION WHICH I LOVE!!!!! ❤❤❤
This performance is the perfect rebuke to "Classical dance is boring, not crisp and sleep inducing!" What a sumptuous treat for the eyes 🙏

I always felt most Bharatnatyam dancers are actually not being creative, not making the most of it, not trying different, you are really going that extra mile to bring that fulfilment, finally I found one, Great Job. And what a visual treat in every composition, awesome👏👏👏👏 great works altogether.🙏

Mesmerised by the performance. The costume, the location, the song, the background music, choreography all combined together has taken this episode to the next level. Felt very proud about our dance form & about its intricacies and flow .special thanks to the choreographer & to his team . The lead dancer needs special mention for her expressions and energy levels.
