I started revision about 4-6 weeks before exams studying for 4-6h a day, and 1h on weekends. I'd recommend starting about twice as earlier as me if you want the best possible grades. Mxnca here is a tip - if u can’t leave your phone for a sec give it to one of your siblings or parents and ask them to give it to u in a hour then take it after 15 minutes 💛
Another tip that works for me to get motivated is: Make your notes pretty (if you want to)! You can also try to improve your handwriting, no one has to keep an ugly handwriting, trust me, mine used to be ugly too, just practice and be patient with yourself! I feel like having my notes look nice (I recommend color coordinating for every/some subjects too, then you won't have to think about what color layout you want to use ^^, or, just be creative with it!) makes me more likely to look at them because they're so pretty! ^-^ And if you're thinking: "But I don't have the time in class to make them look nice!" I get that! Most of the time I scribble my notes kind of ugly in class unless I have more time, and then when I'm home I take some time to redo them or touch them up!

Well,for my personal motivation system, I use RPG for tasks (quests) and I will write the rewards. I will write my status data. Then when I'm done, I will reward myself (xp and coins for example) and I will level up. Then I will remove it and write in red: " Quest Finish! Great Job! " Like that for example, this is just a quick personal motivation for people who are interested. Items I need: - white board (cheap) - marker for white board - ideas for tasks and rewards and for the goals *note: for the goals, I will write for example: "Must earn A+ for French Exam and have 70coins this week"

Tip number 12 ( since there is already a tip no. 11 on the comments) Always get a dictionary or something, this is really useful for kids at school, kinder - grade 5, I'm a grade 4 guy, I'm Filipino, my language is quite tricky, I am Tagalog speaking but I live in Cavite so the language they are speaking is Ilocano, a language inside the Philippines that I don't know, always get a dictionary while reviewing especially people that's language is hard, always get a dictionary so if you don't know that word still you can take you dictionary and find the same word as to the one you confused of, it works best for me.

Hi Darkness Courage &Light my best advice would be to try and separate your thoughts during the time when you study. So for example: when you sit down to study consciously force your brain to think of nothing else except the subject that you are studying. Once you take a break than you can think of anything including your crush :) It is hard at the beginning but the more you practice the better you become at separating your thoughts.
As a guy who usually scores 73-100 on almost every test (my school district doesn’t use the letter grade system) it’s hard to get what you want. Like, if you’re a person who gets like a 50 and below or an F you can say “Can i get *desired item* if i score a 100?” And most likely the parents will say “Okay” or “Sure.” But if you’re the person who gets good grades and want something, you’ll have to prove yourself even more, you’ll most likely have to take the garbage out everyday, make your bed, do laundry, etc, etc, you get the point.

Well, I've always been a good student despite not being quite organized. I barely ever study, I just listen in class. But I do the goals and reward thing when doing my homework. Now, if it's Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics it's fun to do it. But I have a major problem with doing History, Geography and Literature homework. Allison Nguyen Advice from someone in Grade 11: I highly suggest you put your heart and soul in learning and studying now you're in grade five, because it gets harder as you level up, and if you train yourself to study hard now and start studying from the first day of every semester or term, when the pressure becomes really really bad, oh won't suffer too much because you'll be used to hard work :) The pressure in Form 5 (grade 11) in my school is terrible. School starts at eight but we start at seven. School ends at three but we end at five thirty or six, and also, we come to school on Saturdays. All this pressure is to prepare us for IGCSE next year

Im actually addicted to video games since summer,and before that I was was one of the top students in my class,and I enjoyed everything but since I started playing fortnite,I was getting bad grades

Well, I've always been a good student despite not being quite organized. I barely ever study, I just listen in class. But I do the goals and reward thing when doing my homework. Now, if it's Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics it's fun to do it. But I have a major problem with doing History, Geography and Literature homework. But the best tip I can give is - pay attention in class. If you understand it there you just need to memorize the facts because they will make sense.

Allison Nguyen Advice from someone in Grade 11: I highly suggest you put your heart and soul in learning and studying now you're in grade five, because it gets harder as you level up, and if you train yourself to study hard now and start studying from the first day of every semester or term, when the pressure becomes really really bad, oh won't suffer too much because you'll be used to hard work :)
The pressure in Form 5 (grade 11) in my school is terrible. School starts at eight but we start at seven. School ends at three but we end at five thirty or six, and also, we come to school on Saturdays. All this pressure is to prepare us for IGCSE next year

It depends on how you think of ways on how to get higher grades. It's your decision so actually, you don't need to follow accurately all these steps on this vid just to get higher grades. We all have our own ways.
Jomari Binabay you are right! I have to find my way. I get good grades but I force myself to study. I want to fall in love with books and school...but is hard. 😳 I let my homework for the last minute and I don't want to be like that.
