Hey man, I hate to ask here, but I've heard through the grapevine that you've made a video addressing the fatstack issue. Is there any way I can view this video? I put a deposit down 2 years ago based completely on your video on the backyard models. I'd just like an idea of what's actually going on since I can not get a reply from Eric. I know it's already not going to be good, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on the situation.
Love the work you're doing and will continue to be a supporter of your stuff! Thanks, Jeremy!

I know that the owner said these will eventually be for sale for $15k, but dang if they had them under 8 or 9K I would seriously think about getting one. Like I would get rid of a majority of my smokers and get it. I love my offsets and I love my gravity feeds etc, but with kids.... the simplicity while still using real wood is so appealing.

    Jeremy,
Let’s see how long it takes for Traeger, Camp Chef, and Weber to invade this market and make the poor man’s version. Price seems to be the only thing standing in anyone’s way.
You need to compare/ explain how these new rotisserie smokers are different/ better than the old J&R and other rotisserie smokers that have been around for years but never produced the same quality as large offsets.
There will have to be different criteria for top 50 bbq restaurants: man made vs machine made! People are always drawn to artisan handcrafted stuff.

I have a great question. On a 500 gallon or larger smoker. Instead of building a fire to get the whole smoker up to temp. Would it be better to just have a hot small fire and place the meat in the sweet spot for the temp you are trying to achieve. Then if you have to cook for more people. You will just have to make a bigger fire. No matter what. The offset smoke flavor will always be their and all a bbq pit master will have to do is adjust from left to right. I never owned one and with all the options. The larger smoker might make more sense. I always thought they were ridiculous. Now I’m thinking the versatility.
