@@lightningthunder2065 to get 3-4 years would be pritty good. I was thinking that they wouldn't even last a year. And these tyres are expensive and hard to find. Another reviewer had the 8inch wheel mini dualtron version with solid tyres and they barely lasted more than a few hundred miles. I feel as though these scooter are high maintenance, which makes it a little off-putting. Thanks for the hard work
I am a Dualtron Thunder enthusiast, but not a bias. The reason why I bought it because there has yet an equivalent to it. Let's start from Dualtron line up, any model lower than Dualtron 3 is a gimmick. Why is that so? Because you need this chassis length+design to begin with, otherwise you will face with an ongoing issues; such as solid tyres sacrifices comfort and shorter wheel base sacrifices high speed stability. Therefore, Dualtron Thunder is really a Dualtron 3 on steroid. Its chassis has so much potential that one Singaporean tuner came to me stated he pushed his moded Dualtron Ultra (previous version of Thunder) to 147 km/h and still walk around to share his story. I lived in Melbourne and have no e-scooter service around like in Singapore. Therefore, I learned to stock spare parts and do my own maintenance. As a matter of fact, I bought 6 spare tyres + 2 pairs of brake pads from China since the day I bought my Thunder. Despite my hard riding style, I still use what came from factory. I used to have Dualtron 2 and I would need to change new tyres every 300 kms which I believe Dualtron 3 owners would face the same issue due to its similar tyre dimension. Dualtron Thunder's tyres? Until now, I had them run 1,700km and looking to push closest to 2,000km before swap for new one. Above all else, I guess I have to come out behind my GoPro camera and do a commentary clip after all^^ Cheers!!
Great video..... again! Love the bonus footage. 😂🤣😂. SInce he was towing her, he could have at least pulled her to a bush. lol! Looking forward to your next vid. 👍
Thank you for your feedback. I, myself, was thinking to mount another GoPro + gimbal onto my helmet and merge two footage into one. Therefore, I could swap the footage back and forth for an even more immersive experience.
Going over 50 km/h on a bicycle lane is a disaster!! The fastest that I'm able to go On the bicycle lane is 45 kph! (On a narrow bicycle lane is 25 kph!) On the road is 65 kph! (On a narrow road is 45 kph!) 65 km/h is my max speed. I don't go faster than that.
how long do you think these wheels last for?
I'm looking at 3-4 years in terms of its average overall life span; given regular maintenance over wear and tears part through time.

Thank you. It's my great pleasure. I spent half an hour scooting, but it took me few days to edit this clip due to my old pc hardware lol
You pick some good scoot routes....any chance you can move the cam further up and back so we can see a lil more x

do you have the "power mode " setting?
can you do some 0-30 ,0-40,0-50 or whatever tests?
I have my ride set everything to MAX. For acceleration test, I am looking to make one soon after I replace new tyres.
