The Oyster Bar is one of those places inextricably within the hearts of those who travelled through G.C on their daiiy treks to and from work, theatre, dinners in town and life in the "City". The very definitive wellspring of the emotion we know as "homesick" when you have gone away.

I had my very first martini at the Oyster Bar back in 2004. Had no idea it was such an icon in New York City history.

I love that place. I have eaten there at least 100 times in my life.
