Excellent tutorial! Thank you. Glad you said that stitches don't unravel easily from the side! This has given me the confidence to try it. Best wishes to you for a very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year. 🇬🇧
WOW! I just recently finished a sweater with a peplum, and I was very disappointed in it because the peplum stuck out too far on the sides to the point where I didn't even want to wear the sweater. This was not only a time-consuming pattern, but I made it in a very expensive bulky weight alpaca. I tried this method, bringing the peplum only in on the side seams. It worked really well, and now the sweater looks great. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH, MARYNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Kristen :-) As to slimming the sleeves worked in the round, yes the process is the same, but you will need to make a seam to take it the excess fabric. Happy knitting, my friend!
You can, but sewing machine could stretch the seam out of proportion and distort the overall shape of the sweater. That's why I prefer to seam by hand.
Another amazing tutorial. I'm so happy I found 10rows a day, and share tips and tutorials with my students (with Maryna's permission, of course).
Thank you so much, Melissa 🙏 Happy knitting!
Genius- I was just about to try making a sweater slimmer! Thank you a million times.
Thank you so much, Maryna!
You are most welcome, Gail :-) Happy knitting!
Thank you! I have been gifted a sweater with very large sleeves and this will work nicely for me to make them fit.
🎉 An excellent workshop, Maryna!
Thank you, Monique 🙏
Brilliant, thank you 🎉
“Stressful…but not difficult”. 🤣 Great video - it gives me hope for a few projects I have that sit on my shelf because they’re too big. Thank you!

Oooh, Ella, I am so happy to know that this method helped you save your beautiful sweater. Thank you for taking the time to let me know!
WOW! So clever and a wonderful video!
Thank you, Sharon 🙏
What a great video-easy to understand! How do you slim sweaters that are knit in the round? Same process?

Thank you for an excellent information about sewing it up with the back stitch. Could you just use the sewing machine to sew it up instead?
