West Coast Trail: 2024

It turns out that the last time I did the West Coast Trail, it was dry. This time around there was an ungodly amount of mud, including 11km of straight mud pits between Bonilla and Camper Bay. Afraid of heights? Fear no more. The mud will make you weep with joy at the sight of the suspension bridge and ladders. This trail is best navigated with questionable sanity and a good sense of humour.
June 25 to July 1, 2024
Day 1: Pachena Bay to Darling River 14 km
Day 2: Darling River to Klanawa 8.5 km
Day 3: Klanawa to Cribs 19 km
Day 4: Cribs to Bonilla 7 km
Day 5: Bonilla to Camper 14 km
Day 6: Camper to Thrasher 8 km
Day 7: Thrasher to Gordon River 6 km
