Hello! Thank you for very informative vlogs. For someone like me who's been 8 years past graduation, would the use of MPlusX plus supplemental readings on Murtagh's 7th (on topics that I find difficult via Q-banks) be suffice in my preparation for AMC 1? To be honest, I'm really anxious for I've forgotten a lot of things. I bought different study materials online but I find them too overwhelming as well (I bought via Shopee all the study materials you mentioned). This is specially hard since I'm also working to fund my test application etc. I underwent medical residency here in PH so I've forgotten around at least 50% of the concepts from other fields. Thanks in advance!!

When did you know that you were ready to sit AMC 1 exam?
There really is no way to tell. I guess you will always feel unready but you just have to take that leap of faith. I would say you are ready when you are able to answer online qbank sample questions correctly and consistently.

Hi doctors! Thank you for this informative video :) Just wanted to ask if there is a required number of years of clinical experience (after graduating medical school) before we can take the AMC exams and/or apply in AUS hospitals? Thank you!
Most hospitals and clinics prefer at least 2 years of ongoing clinical experience -- we find most candidates become successful in their application when they have that. But you can take the AMC exams anytime after completing your primary medical degree.
@@imgaustralia5723 Hi! Your videos are amazing for us doctors. Med schools are 6 six years in Turkey, final(6th) year is basically 12 months of internship in Hospital. Does Australia recognise this as 1 year of clinical experience ?

Yes they do have a preference. Actually, if you graduated from NZ, UK, US, Ireland or Canada then you can enter into Australian system using competent pathway. Thanks.
Where is amc 1 taken?
It is taken in many countries.
In AMC part 1,we must choose only one correct response whether the stem may have One or More possible correct answers ?Is that right? Because I've heard about Type A and Type J questions type.Type J question has One or more correct answers. In this case,do we need to choose all correct answers or only One correct response ? I'm not clear in that part.I would like to know what is the difference between type A and type J.Thank you Drs for this informative video! 👍

Wow. Only 150 questions compared to USMLE's STEP 1 - 280 questions and Step 2 CK - 318 questions.
