I've been watching your videos for a couple of years and want to thank you and you team because I am working on starting my own company in K.C. The knowledge from your videos is priceless.
Great job site video. Showing work methods, proper equipment to do the job, as well as things that could go wrong on a job site like the “hidden treasures “ and compromising with the customer in the middle of the scope of work. This format does educates less experienced landscapers.
Really like these videos and how you roll with the unexpected and end up with a finished product. Very rarely does a job site ever go smooth without any surprises.
My father used a 6' x 8' piece of chain link fence with a couple of 2 x 4s on the end to drag around the barnyard. It worked great at picking up smaller rocks and evening out the surface. But since he kept at it for years, I suppose it worked best because time wasn't a factor. I love your videos and enjoy learning new things. I especially love your work ethic and how your faith comes through...
Love that starting young my dad dropped my in a truck at 5 and a sterling tri axle bumper at 9 and backhoe at 7 good job keep up the great work love the videos god bless
I wish I had a pound for every stone picking job I've done - I'd be a millionaire by now! Stanley you know what gives a good lawn - whether its seed or turf the secret is a good tilth. As ever its sheer unadulterated pleasure watching you and the lads at work thanks once again for making an old landscaper so happy!
I like all of your videos. Definitely enjoy the job site updates and following videos. Especially when you have surprises that pop up and need dealt with
Fascinating job, would love to see the site as the seeds germinate. You have a great team, willing to work together in all conditions. Like you Stanley I too dragged my children to work, many of whom in the early years were none too pleased to have to steam clean toilets, but they had to learn.I also expected their school work to be maintained but they now own their own businesses now so perhaps it helped. Love these real job site videos.
Hi Stan, I really do like the format on your videos. We get to see the whole project, good and bad with all of you and your crews comments. They are never boring! Thumbs Up!
A really good video Stanley. The field was a nightmare. I love this style of video please post more. The editing and music are brilliant. Can we see a video when this grass is grown please. Keep well and safe
One of the best things about your channel is that you provide such a wide variety of video types and content. My favorites are the product demos and features. Keep up the great work!
This is a good change from your normal style. Good to see a job from start to finish. Don't stop doing your normal style. Just add this into the mix to keep it fresh.
Great video. We are going to have our property smoothed out like the property in your video. Thanks for giving us a good idea of what’s needed and how to talk to the landscape guys when they come. Keep the great videos coming.
Of all the channels out there, the value this channel is VERY HIGH. I don't know how many people waste their time watching buzzfeed or some other garbage with millions of views.
the job format is perfect and its always a pleasure watching you and your son working together someday that boy is going to fill your shoes to keep that company going
I don't watch all your videos but I do have to say that this one was done really well. Great editing, great camera angles and good music and as always great information for guys like me that know nothing about dirt hauling equipment. Keep it up.
Really enjoy this format of video, sometimes it's not what's said that you learn best from, but just watching a project develop and picking up on the small details.
Love your videos Stanley! I also really like this format of it. Keep up the good work. Its nice to see a good contractor that doesnt cut corners and explains it all out.
As always love love love your videos. Whatever format. I have been watching for 2 years now, I think. Best video series on YT, that shows great information. Great job!
Stan I have the SR3 as well, such a well versatile implement its crazy. Breaking up compaction for lawn installations, rough grading, finish grading etc. Its awesome to see a fellow contractor using it and is enthused with it as I am!!!!
Greatings from Sothern Idaho. Thank you for the great content. You have some of the best and informative videos, I love your unbiased reviews. I would love to have my own business similar to yours some day.
These types of videos are great Stan. Perfect for those who want to get into this kinda of stuff. Learning from the sidelines from the pros. Keep up the outstanding job Stan!
Awesome video ! Very cool on getting the son out there to help. You also do a great job in handling your employees. Yeah finding stuff below the surface never fun, adds more time to the job and in your case more money for damaged equipment... I enjoy your variety of videos. I appreciate all the ones you put out helps me in taking care of my projects around the 5 acre's I have. I only have a small John Deere 1025 but it's amazing what it can do.thanks again for all the videos you put out...
Yeah, you never know what your gonna find til you get into it. I've been working on this apartment a bit at a time since Oct. Luckily the owner, a friend has been ok and really likes what I've been doing. I also let him know as I find new things. I had to replace a 2' x 3' piece under th washer. Had to raise one side of the kitchen counter an inch and just when I think I've got the construction done I find a bad spot under the toilet, lol. I knew it was there just kinda blocked it out til I got there. Like a small section of stonework between the shower/laundry area and living room I had to remove and reset. Unfortunately I had finished a lot and forgot to put something over the opening as the old mortar dust went every where. Such is life. Thanks for sharing.
Been watching your videos on and off for years, lately these are great. You have the formula down with this format, the way you explain everything is good too. So to answer the question on jobsite videos, keep em coming, I start watching these videos and before I realize it they're over.
Hey Dirt you and your guys did an excellent job with what you had to work with i love all of your videos it shows that how an easy job can go sideways with just a bucket of dirt keep making the videos there great
Prefer this style over some of your previous ones. I'm a casual contractor; no advertising and I'm approached whether or not I can do job XYZ. Having some of the crew back and forth is beneficial along with some of the overall job adjustments that you have to do.
I remember when I was a kid my dad had me move a pile of cinder blocks from one corner of the yard to the other. It was seemingly pointless at the time but its because of him I owe part of my work ethic.
Really cool video to see you guys take care of this site. Loved the in-cab view, too. What a project. Will have to watch the challenging bit a little later though.
One of my jobs in the Marine Corps was building Airfields. When we had this very issue with rocks we had a Bulldozer attachment that looked a lot like the old Cattle Catcher on train’s. It was designed to lift Land Mines and displace them to the side of the blade. This was a much better tool than using Road Graders Scafire blades. We had to be able to achieve a CBR4 compaction, that was a challenge in a lot of places.
That job came out great. Too bad you got a gift of junk someone got paid to remove! IT PAYS TO HIRE someone like you or YOU to do a grade like that. Good info on the ASV. Another guy has one for 'Brush Control' (a 120). You confirm everything he says about his. Must be a nice machine. Your videos are pretty much taking many things into count. This one perfect for this time of year, (GREAT); Switch to winter and you have us covered with that, YUK, but it's REAL; Then you do the show circuit to show us all that's new and how to better do what we need to do or things we wish we had. ALL in ALL - you get a big thanks ALL around. Thank you for another one! Sonny (CT)
I've watched a few videos from you, but this is so far my favorite ones, as you're creating something new, and it shows the project almost from start to end. Plus. I got to see some attachments I didn't know about, like the bucket you used on the ASV and the SR-3? Cool vid, so keep it up! I have a big interest in landscaping and stuff like this, so this is right up my alley.
Yep, I like them too, and there is only one thing I think you should do with these bigger projects with moving dirt etc, show an after its done with the grass etc grown up later :) its very satisfying to look a site transform from something ugly to something nice
Good format like watching your vids. Only thing is good before and after shots to show how much work is really done and people can see a transformation of your hard work.
Love the content, and style m8 So frustrating when you find something in the ground hidden treasures makes a final grade cut hard work nice content aswel
@Stanley "Dirt Monkey" Grenadek You asked for our opinions on the onsite videos I'm just an average Larry watching a guy and group who work there butts off and I'm enjoying every minute! Please keep making these interesting and informative videos.
Or he needs to learn how to run a skid that would speed up the operation a lot too. Not sure how you can teach kids how to run something when your not efficient in it yourself
@@bryanmorgan6109 I was going to say the same thing. Skid steers are a joke compared to a small crawler. Put a laser on it and go to town. Lower operating cost compared to those rubber tracks too.
Great video! What you see on the surface of some farms isn't the same as what's beneath them. I worked at a pig farm a few years back and dug in to what we figured was a dead animal or dead animal parts burial pit that was of course unmarked. Didn't eat lunch that day.... And then I've worked at other farms where buildings burnt down so because they're always cheapskates they had use bury all that rubble right there on the spot without any consideration to future uses. Real geniuses.
I feel your pain Stan. I’m finishing up a job transforming an old farm field into an outdoor garden area with raised beds, for a customer who no longer has the mobility for conventional gardening. Massive rocks, part of an old stone foundation, the exact same problems you were encountering. I’ve never owned a skeleton bucket, but I couldn’t help but wonder the whole time if it would have made the job easier. Do you have any experience with them, and do you think you would have benefitted from one on this job? Side note: That hydra bucket is amazing man, every video I’ve seen of you guys running it is making me realize I need to invest in one. I’m digging (pun intended) the new videos... Been following for years and the new content is great. Keep it up and hope you are all doing well.
Heck yeah Stan. Love the alternate schedule you are posting. Been a long time since I seen a shoulder mount seed thrower. Grandfather used to run us ragged as kids out in the fields with fertilize an what not. Also keep safe the stupidity has spread everywhere
Yeah Stan, I do like this format. The job site videos are interesting especially how you resolve the problems that invariably arise.
The knowledge you have & your ability to teach/explain things is exceptional. Very respectable if you ask me.
Stanley: let me know if you like these jobsite videos and this format
me: love em
My husband and I love your videos. Love the narrative you do with the pros and cons, also the instructions you do. Love what you are doing
Awesome! Thank you!
I’d love to see a follow-up shot of the grass all grown in and mowed, before and after style.
Really like these videos and how you roll with the unexpected and end up with a finished product. Very rarely does a job site ever go smooth without any surprises.

Excellent stuff. Helps me plan and do my own work, watching professionals and staying on the plan.
I like all of your videos. Definitely enjoy the job site updates and following videos. Especially when you have surprises that pop up and need dealt with
There's something so satisfying about a nice clean graded landscape. Good job man. Looks amazing.
Thanks a ton!
Fascinating job, would love to see the site as the seeds germinate. You have a great team, willing to work together in all conditions.

Love these real job site videos.
I like your teaching tactics I wish my old bosses would been more interested in training me then just getting the job done as fast as possible
LOVE watching landscaping!!! Love the commentary and reasoning for this or that.👍🏼
Hi Stan,
I really do like the format on your videos. We get to see the whole project, good and bad with all of you and your crews comments. They are never boring! Thumbs Up!

You seem like an amazing man to work for. If our country had more leaders like you the work force would be better off.
This is a good change from your normal style. Good to see a job from start to finish. Don't stop doing your normal style. Just add this into the mix to keep it fresh.
I really like the longer videos with less time-lapse…although, I love all the types of videos you do, the ones I’m talking about are my favorite :)
Love the format and style of the video! Also appreciate the narrating throughout really helps us rookies out!

Love the fast motion. Great narration Keep them coming. Im living my life vicariously through your videos!
I don't watch all your videos but I do have to say that this one was done really well. Great editing, great camera angles and good music and as always great information for guys like me that know nothing about dirt hauling equipment. Keep it up.
I also have a rock picker attachment. his name is Adam and he is my younger brother.
LOL- good choice
So good to see a boss that doesnt just expect everyone to know everything he knows. But takes time to let them learn
Love watching you guys work ! class acts ! great format , so informative and shows just how great you guys are at what you do
Really enjoy this format of video, sometimes it's not what's said that you learn best from, but just watching a project develop and picking up on the small details.
“This is my rock picker” 🤣 been there done that. I helped my dad with things for most of my childhood. Now we go back and forth
Is that an Ontario thing? Same here..dad’s helper when I was coming up. NW Ontario here.
Steve Turk south central here. Right by Niagara Falls
Love the job site videos and seeing the transformation from start to finish of a project.
Glad you enjoy it!
STICK WITH THIS FORMAT STAN! LOVE THE ACTION OF A JOB SITE! THANKS AGAIN!
Love your videos Stanley! I also really like this format of it. Keep up the good work. Its nice to see a good contractor that doesnt cut corners and explains it all out.
I love my ASV just like you. I would not give it up for another machine.
I love this format a lot keep making your videos like this.

Loved that 😂 You're raising 'em right! 😊

A quality job, viewed from the U.K.
Loving the videos and the format! Very informative!
Very satisfying vid. Also, you made a lovely job. Would like to see this after they-presumably-grass it.
Loving the on site videos. I have a lot of similar projects at my house and these are very helpful.
Glad you like them!
Not sure how this got on my recommended list, but this is honestly better than most cable tv shows.
Love the job site videos. You do a great job on all your videos.
Yep, I like them too, and there is only one thing I think you should do with these bigger projects with moving dirt etc, show an after its done with the grass etc grown up later :) its very satisfying to look a site transform from something ugly to something nice
Great to see how a job should be done. Thanks.
Definitely like this format and the job site videos.
Enjoyed watching you work this site!
I love this format and everything about it!
Good format like watching your vids. Only thing is good before and after shots to show how much work is really done and people can see a transformation of your hard work.

I hope you already know I LOVE these videos!
You're the best!
Stan needs a dozer in his inventory. Only way to set grades fast
Fast isn't always better...
He used to own one I believe a case 850c, something like that and then a komatsu prior to that
I use a d4k cat . Does twice the work
Or he needs to learn how to run a skid that would speed up the operation a lot too. Not sure how you can teach kids how to run something when your not efficient in it yourself
