John already has received his reprimands and punishment for his actions, and has since then apologized and changed his behavior. Make no mistake: this is not a punishment, this is a PR move. The official Penguin Random House website has released a synopsis for an upcoming Captain Jack graphic novel. At the end of the synopsis, it says "Bursting straight out of the long-running hit television series, this bold new tale ties in directly with episode two of the hotly-anticipated series 13". Does this mean Captain Jack will definitely be in series 13? No, but it does mean that a graphic novel featuring him will tie in with episode 2. Like I said, it's from their official website.
I get what he means about Jack's appeal, but he's too humble about his own portrayal of the character. John brings a lot of his real life energy into the role and I think few, if any, other actors could capture the essence of Captain Jack the way he did.

Guess this’ll probably be the last time we see Jack then, oh well. If he’s done it he deserves it. Hate when people defend him just because they like him as an actor, I love him as Jack. But if he’s done those things he needs to take responsibility. Same with Noel.
He kinda did. He apologised for exposing himself but he called it ‘Tomfoolery’. Tbf his co-worker on Torchwood said he intended for it to be a joke. But he also supposedly put his penis on Camille Coduri’s shoulder, so whether or not THAT was intended for a joke (probably was with what his co-workers have said) that was a big no-no. But again he did admit to exposing himself on set and apologise, which is more than can be said for Noel Clarke.
@@saffronia2992 he didn’t stop though. There have been similar stories of him flashing or mooning on the sets of Arrow and Miracle day. His PR managers even had to beg him to not pull those same antic on I’m a Celebrity.
I would love to see him in a few more episodes with Jodi Whittaker. Their episodes are amazing. Also I think the doctor needs to give Jack his travel through space wrist gadget thing.
This didn’t age well… unfortunately for those unaware, Barrowman was cut from this production due to the current circumstances circulating around social media from a report by the Guardian regarding inappropriate conduct and behaviour from 2005-2008 alongside the allegations made against Noel Clarke. Disappointing, but expected.
He flashed his knob to a few co workers, so what. It was normal for men AND woman to flash themselves on set as a joke back then. I don’t really care what he did almost 15 years ago. He apologised back In 2008. People just wanna cause trouble.
@David Blyth So if a woman did it would they get into trouble, no. It’s only because he’s a man 🙄 No it’s not okay what he did back then but I will continue to support him in the future, got a problem with that?

@@Deathlygunn I don't know if I would call it "at each others throats", but I have come across some fans fussing about the Falcon becoming Captain America.

@David Blyth Big Finish did do some really good Torchwood audios. Although funnily enough, most of their best stories don’t feature Jack (the only exceptions to this are the ones where he’s paired up with Ianto).
I think Dr. Who could jump start a new series with Captain Jack Harkness as the central figure. Give him a new cast of characters and a new mission. There are never enough really good Science Fiction programs to see or do new things. Torchwood was great but all of cast members were killed off. So I think that this is good time for something new to be started. It could be kind of like Torchwood but better.

The only reason I enjoyed jodie era was cuz jack is back
God I love him 💙
😬
He did take responsibility. He apologised, changed and stopped. What more do you want?
@@saffronia2992 he didn’t stop though. There have been similar stories of him flashing or mooning on the sets of Arrow and Miracle day. His PR managers even had to beg him to not pull those same antic on I’m a Celebrity.
@@EditedAF987 At this point I don't care. I'm bored of the situation. I've made my opinion clear.
this aged well
More torchwood pls
ООО да это прекрасно!
Can we have Jack back in series 13,please?
I would love to see him in a few more episodes with Jodi Whittaker. Their episodes are amazing. Also I think the doctor needs to give Jack his travel through space wrist gadget thing.
Probably wont happen now
This didn’t age well… unfortunately for those unaware, Barrowman was cut from this production due to the current circumstances circulating around social media from a report by the Guardian regarding inappropriate conduct and behaviour from 2005-2008 alongside the allegations made against Noel Clarke.
@@spyfalls_ But they would? What u on about?
@David Blyth and? Who are you to speak for his colleagues exactly? That's right nobody
@@georgeskate78 the actress who played gwen did, as in she flashed people and no one cares
Again the same dreadful visual flashing as in the David Bradley nterview. Please, please stop..
Love youJohn, your and awesome actor loved Torchwood so much
Has he dyed his hair.
i think these are spoilers, he has *brown* hair now, hmmm
This hasn’t aged well😬
Guess this videos kinda pointless now

"That's what I love about geekdom, we all respect each other" - If only that were true John, nowadays it seems the only Fanbase that isn't at each others throats constantly is Marvel.
Unfortunately, that's not entirely true. I've seen odd bits of discourse between fans arguing over which ending was "better" between WandaVision vs Falcon & Winter Soldier. It's probably gonna get worse when Loki releases.
@@Cuddleshock God damn it, I knew it was only a matter if time until they turned on each other but didn't know it had already kicked off.
@@Deathlygunn I don't know if I would call it "at each others throats", but I have come across some fans fussing about the Falcon becoming Captain America.
Why does John look like Elon Musk?!

He looks the same wth
Have you had work done?
*YOU CAN TALK*
Probably an unpopular opinion but I only liked Jack's character in series 1, when he reappeared in series 3 and onwards I wasn't a fan.
I can't watch Dr Who anymore it's just too painful. It's like watching a good friend destroy themselves on meth and there's nothing you can do. Farewell treasured sci fi shows of my youth I miss you.
Rather dramatic. The grown up approach is so separate the art from the person who created it
The Twitter mob has cancelled John Barrowman, I hope you're happy BBC.
@David Blyth Yeah. Countrycide, Out of Time, To the Last Man, Captain Jack Harkness, Fragments, Adrift, etc.
@@mikeharvey2129 Adrift is amazing
@David Blyth Big Finish did do some really good Torchwood audios. Although funnily enough, most of their best stories don’t feature Jack (the only exceptions to this are the ones where he’s paired up with Ianto).
I think Dr. Who could jump start a new series with Captain Jack Harkness as the central figure. Give him a new cast of characters and a new mission. There are never enough really good Science Fiction programs to see or do new things. Torchwood was great but all of cast members were killed off. So I think that this is good time for something new to be started. It could be kind of like Torchwood but better.
