Hi Richard, just back in the UK from 10 days in Drakensberg & Kruger - you were right, loved every minute. Some wonderful moments - talon grappling Martial Eagles, Leopard with a 4M Rock Python kill just two of many highlights. Your vids helped so much with bird ID, thank you. I'll be back to SA as soon as I can, most likely Western Cape. Top man, all good things etc. Tom

Fantastic video, excellent quality! What would it have made it even better is if you added the area in KNP where the birds were seen. KNP is such a big park, that those of us that still need to find some of them would love a little bit more info. Example - Arnot's Chat near Punda Maria. Thanks for sharing such a brilliant video!

I think Kruger is our most amazing park - affordable with incredible sightings. I'm sure there are a few SA private parks which could be a good rival for it and I've been to one of them by sheer blessings from God, but out of all the ones that are actually accessible to South African people, and where you can drive your own vehicle and/or go on organised drives, Kruger is the best and is worth a visit by any international tourist interested in wildlife!

I agree Kruger is probably the best place in Africa in terms of wild abundance and diversity

Beautiful! Great camera work Richard. Would you be able to share the locations of your shots. As a fellow birder and have been in the Kruger but not seen anything like you.

Started your channel right from the beginning and I must say you are a natural at it. The footage is out standing. Keep at it mate very well done. Kinda inspires me to up my game. I'm getting new camera kits soon-ish so hopefully this will improve the quality of my vids. Only been using a little bridge camera up to this point. Any who keep em coming I love them. Oh a btw what time of year would you say is best for birds in the Kruger?

Really appreciate these kind comments Shaun! The best time in my opinion is mid December to early January, that’s if you can handle the heat! Kruger is by far my favourite birding destination!

What bird was calling in the background of the White-fronted Bee-eater? Red-faced Cisticola?
