don't know what she singing, never heard of her , salright , impressive, relaxing and even though no idea what singing her vocal was another instrument making a wonderful sound. good stuff
I discovered Fatoumata few years ago. West Africa, especially Mali, has awsome music. A CD called "From Mali to Memphis", shows how blues his rooted in West Africa. You should come to Montreal "Festival Nuits d'Afrique" (Africa Nights Festival). Great festival since decades, like the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
I've love her, been listening to her for a couple months now - and I think this particular video is the best showcase of her talents! Fantastic voice, songwriting, and guitar playing. There's actually a lot of great music coming out of Mali these days, the best rock in the world now IMHO.
This is a delightful experience. Her wonderful vocals so pleasant and the guitar amazing. Nice. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Joel B. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
I’m grooving just like you are HARRI !!!
❤....... 🤒🔥 Absolutely Fantastic 🔥 great selection 🥂🍾♥️🇿🇦
Apparently she is from Mali and sings mostly in Bambara, the national language of Mali on the Ivory Coast.
She did a song with Gorillaz called Desolé. Fantastic tune. She’s got a great voice.
I enjoyed that more than many songs I can understand.
I really liked this. Terrific voice and song.

Based on this, you have to watch Siki Jo-An perform the click song
Great to hear you listening to this and I love that you appreciate her work - in a similar area you could try Imarhan or Tarwa N-Tiniri
❤️ Fatou! She is amazing… I discovered her when I found some other music of Mali
I love this. I feel another UA-cam wormhole coming on!
