I think amc hives could be s tier because of the fact that it's essentially permanent if the person in question is competent with map placement and location. and having that up all the time is arguably better than having a temporary stim. It could also be argued that the notion that it is conditional is somewhat of a fallacy because even if one does not know the most optimal place to put the hive the player could still put it behind themselves or around a jungle wall and it's not like it takes 3 seconds to look for a spot, it's also entirely possible to just 180 and throw it far back behind you and by the time the fight moves out of the area of the hive (as it is fairly large) it will most likely be off cooldown. There is also a chance that the amc will not be in range to fight yet as they get to a team fight and have the opportunity to place their hive while approaching, assuming of course that they have not already put a hive near that spot. Finally, on top of being nigh permanent in the right hands it also has a good amount going for it in terms of what it gives you with the HP5, movement speed and attack speed.
Ian Rogers It’s not like there’s a huge skill requirement to put the hive in a good spot though, and you don’t have to have 200 iq to put your hive in the right spot, all that’s required is that the person be thinking coherently. Although a large amount of smite players seem to lack the ability to think coherently and plan ahead so I entirely see your point lol.
I definitely always level it second and just build lifesteal like a normal hunter, Cupid hearts badly need something added to warrant a 2nd priority levelling so yeah that attack speed buff is noticeable and quite nice and permanent, his placement of it is crazy
In regards to AMC's hives, I think not being unconditional during a team fight is more than made up for with the fact it can stay around permanently, unlike the others which expire & go on cooldown. AMC's hives can be permanent fixtures and double as vision, so that should makeup for not being able to "unconditionally" have it at all times.

Tiers starts with S tier and move down. S-tier is usually reserved for the most broken of broken and not a total of 8, in this case, they're all A-tier because there are so many that aren't ahead. You could quite easily say Chirons dash is S-tier but Sols buff is SSSSSS-tier. This has become quite a thing in Smite, I don't see it in other games I follow.
What about bellona??? Her passive gives movement speed and protections , and her últ gives power and protections to the whole team standing around it’s amazing she’s amazing, I’m also a bellona main lol

I'm confused about AA damage steroids. Freya's ranged basics counted yet Rama and Hachiman 1s don't? Similarly, how about Ao Kuang mini dragons? How about single hit AAs like Arachne, Da Ji, or Loki? On that note, this is just a technicality thing but since Cern 1 is there, why aren't the passives for Stance Switch abilities included? Tyr gets 50 of either prots or power, Ullr gets Lifesteal and AS, Hel gets whatever she gets, etc. Just a clarification thing since again, Cern was included. On that note, does Fafnir Dragon count as a stim? I understand not counting Cthulhu or Cu Chu transformations but since Faf essentially gets 'enhanced' versions of his abilities, does it not count? Although if we're looking more about ability enhancements, Cupid passive? Sorry if this is a lot, just wondering.

Butcher blades, trident and Chronos 2 should all be moved up one tier. Irradiate should be moved up 2. Trident turns Poseiden into an adc for the duration and gives him great farm and rotations. Butcher blades is Backasura's only aggressive damaging ability and he is a really deadly character despite lacking other damage sources in his kit. Irradiate gives a massive damage boost which surpasses any other stim in the game; it makes the damage from butcher blades and viper shot seem low. Chronos 2 makes the character as it gives his autos a huge damage boost and gives him a large attack speed bonus and speed boost - if you are putting viper shot in S+ then you have to put Chronos 2 there as well.
I think I'd consider kuzenbo 2 a steroid. Different than most cause he's a guardian, but it's easy reflect damage a gross amount of CDR when executed well. His passive is kinda a guardian steroid too. Instead of landing AA like Apollo he just takes damage. Goes good with the 2.
Someone explain to me how a 60% attack speed steroid for 5s on chernobog is worse than a 40% attack speed steroid that lasts for 6 seconds on olorun? Also you forgot to include the following: Achilles's passive (you control it) Ares's 2 Amaterasu's Divine presence Ao kuang's dragon call (since you included medusa's and this techincally just adds damage to 6 autos) Bakasura's eat minion (heal+ protection) and passive (attack speed + movement speed) Baron's samedi's consign spirit's slow cleanse,movement speed buff, heal. Bellona's entire kit yo. Everything has a steroid. Bacchus's chug (mitigation) Chuthulu's 3 during his ult (that shit is wack) Cabrakan's seismic yes the 1 auto sucks but big ole damage root and movement speed immunity and a stun on the next auto with haste. Camazotz's vampire bats (healing and lifesteal buff) and screech (power buff) khepri's 2 kuzenbo's 2 kuku's 2 Hebo's passive maybe his 2 as well herc's passive with his 3 Swk passive Pele's passive
yeah, I think there are too many abilities that by his own rules of "if it gives you a stat increase" that he didn't consider. Maybe the video would be too long for his liking but if you're going to make a tierlist definitely include every ability that fits in the category based on your own terms. (I personally don't think an aoe that happens to give an attack speed or power buff for a short time should count like neith's 2, i'm never going to use her 2 to specifically gain an attack speed buff)
@@ashtonj8755 Neith's 2 is kind of overpowered and you should start thinking about using it that way because from lvl 2 you have 30% attack speed steroid/ debuff that lasts 4 seconds it's really good early game because the debuff lasts longer than any attack speed buff in the game only does it fall off by lvl 12ish until they max their steroids then some characters out last the debuff duration like for example artemis's steroid starts at 40% atk speed buff and lasts 3 seconds when neith counters her steroid with her 2 so artemis's attack speed is nerfed enough to almost were it was at the start while neith's attack speed is buffed but after 3 seconds artemis's attack speed buff drops and her attack speed drops more while neith is still buffed enough to land 2 autos it helps a lot with boxing. (I am X on every hunter and my off role is adc currently Diamond 2)
Chiron dash is actually super good for objective pushing. Dash directly into the phoenix, it stops you from dashing past, and you just shred it. Its niche af, but is truly devastating if you use it right. Also cupids 3 being the only permanent attack speed steroid is very good for cupid, so you need to build less attack speed in items which is perfect for cupid.
I think chiron dash should give passive power without dashing maybe lower the power cuz the autos while dashing is very clunky and not that good you cant even 2while you dash i think correct me if i m wrong

I think its not a good tierlist. Like, you include those ultimates, and compare it to the other steroids and it feels like you didn't consider that they have a 90 second cooldown and are literally the ultimate ability of those gods. Sure, they are good, but which ultimate is not good, compared to standard abilities. Then, those D-Tier abilities deserve better. Sure, they are not a good steroid, but you said it yourself, they are not designed to be a steroid and not used as a steroid, so why include them? And lastly, why did you include things like apollos passive or sols passive, but pele, sun wukong or bakasura didn't get a spot in the tierlist. Yes, baka 3 doesn't give attack speed, but that is because his passive gives attack speed. I find it very difficult to rank those abilities as steroids, especially since so many are not designed as a steroid. Take jing wei 1. It does damage, knock ups the enemy (and yourself), and gives an attack speed buff if you use it yourself. Of course the buff isn't going to be that amazing, but thats kinda the point. I do think the places are deserved if you only look at the steroid part of the abilities, but i think you can't just judge them from this point of view, as stated before

I think ama’s shield (1) is good because it gives heals and you can switch between stances depending on the situation
One thing about Merc's steroid you didn't mention is its slow immunity, which is pretty good overall and nuts on Merc himself.

Discordia 3 has a cool down steroid. If hachiman banner counts that should too. Same with Bellona ult
One you missed is Chtulu's ult 3 buff. I would rank it S+. There might be more but that is the only one off the top of my head/ that I caught.

On apollo passive your 1st basic after is also faster, so it is basicly 100% for 6 basics
