Parents with two kids at Primary Children's on different floors get big surprise from Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy this holiday season helping a local man gift $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to bless as many individuals in our community as he can.
Sereneti and Andy Migel have five adorable children. They are wonderful, hard-working, kind people. Serenti is always helping her friends and neighbors - taking meals, dropping off flowers or babysitting for families in need.
Their youngest daughter, Merry Hope, is 2 years old and was born with congenital cervical kyphosis, a birth defect where her neck curves the wrong direction. Merry also has extensive tumors on her spine.
The Migels took Merry to Primary Children’s Hospital in July where she stayed for one month. She had two surgeries to straighten her neck and remove the tumors.
A few weeks after being admitted, the Migel’s 11-year-old son, Spencer, was taken to the emergency room. He had been having severe pain in his lower abdomen and was vomiting a lot. The doctor discovered a large mass and he was also admitted to Primary Children’s Hospital where he spent five days, overlapping Merry’s stay.
The biopsy showed the growth was ganglioneuroblastoma intermixed variant, a type of cancer. Spencer had surgery last month at Primary Children’s to remove the tumor.
Merry is now home but still has a tracheotomy and a large spine and shoulder collar to stabilize her
neck. She will have more procedures next year.
The Migels have remained positive and optimistic through all of their challenges. Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News team to pay them a visit with some early Christmas gifts. Watch the video above to see Sereneti’s response! - Розваги
She is such a happy woman. Horrible things are being tossed at her and she is taking it all in stride. This family so deserves this. Two babies who are medically fragile. ❤️

I hate to say seeing her young daughter breaks my heart, but it does; it seems like she is in pain. She has the perfect mom, with the positive and caring personality and energy though to help her through this transition. I hope she gets better in the long run, and glad to hear her son is doing much better as of now as well.
It's doubtful she's in pain. Medical teams are pretty careful to keep that at bay for kids. She is like a lot of toddlers, freaked out by strangers but it could be that she is more sensitive - more strangers for her means more procedures and surgeries.
Agreed i think the daughter is a bit frightened from the comossion aswell. I also fell the moms expression on the eyes says the whole story. But you know parents have breaking points aswell.

@@loveforeignaccents It’s possible. A lot of therapists come to your home, and they change the therapy providers often. Every time someone would come to our door our kids thought it was a therapist or respite care provider.

This Mom is a perfect example of “God will never give you more than you can handle.” I am sure that she and her husband have had many sleepless nights and cried many tears. Yet, she is strong and carries her family through these difficult times. Her baby girl is just beautiful and will have a strong spirit like her Mom.

I’m sad crying but also feel so positive bc this women just exudes positivity.
I'm certain the car is a massive help but I imagine the star gift here is the dining table and chairs. In a time where families are distracted by screens, kitchen counter eating, eating on the run and all the other distractions in life, I strongly believe that family dinners together are important and need to be made 'fashionable' again before the tradition is lost forever.
I am in awe of this ladies positive, friendly attitude and oh so sweet demeanour. I don't know if there is something in the water or perhaps it's the cold mountain air but everyone on these Secret Santa videos is so kind and friendly. And not just in a 'oh there's a TV crew at my front door kind of way. It seems and feels so genuine.

I am sooo confused! If you believe in god, then you believe it’s all part of his plan - he oversees and decides everything. If that’s true, then the god you’re asking to send blessings, is the same god that gave the girl her neck and tumour, and then chose, while she was going through that, to give the boy cancer too. What kind of despicable, evil, nasty and malicious god is it that would do that? And why on earth would you praise him/her/it?

Viewers of this channel know one thing the rest of the world doesn’t. Namely, that tear ducts are cleaner in December than in other months.
The incredibly kind-hearted Secret Santa has excelled himself this year, with gift recipients so deserving, so insanely positive and humble that I feel privileged to have been witness to a small portion of their lives. The problem is I’m a wreck at the end of watching them.

This is a strong lady. One blow after another and she keeps on fighting with a smile on her face. I have been through similar periods in my life and many others have also I assume, where a storm enters your life and you take blow after blow and it sucks.
