Love your channel, you're down to earth and honest with the people you're buying from. You are right, you don't have to lie about what you're doing. I noticed that some of the other pickers lie about buying for their families or children or buying to put in a booth. Wish you all the sucess!
It's ok Sometimes to tell the people your a reseller. You will come across some that don't like it for some reason. I had one lady make a deal at a garage sale and then ask me what i was going to do with all of the items, to which i said i resell on a few online platforms. She then stated "well you can afford the full price" and backed out of the negotiated price. I promptly told her i appreciated her time and directly left the sale. You will find a few stinkers out there.
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦. I really like how you are honest that you resell. I notice many resellers are very hesitant to admit. At the end of the day, as long as someone gets rid of their stuff, I don’t think it matters. Great cause! Plus keeps things out of the landfill. 🤙🏼
We do a Festival of Trees, here in Midland, Mi too. This year, Mrs aus and I are sponsoring our own tree. Theme is: A Magical Hogwart's Christmas. Yes, you can imagine it will all Gerry Potter themed! LOL
* That was so mush stuff & they acted like there would be More, except there was limited space tp put it out.. What a source ~ Amazed you didn't get more..
We have the festival of trees in Knoxville, Tennessee . We are about 40 miles from there and it is such an amazing charity. I love that you want to help the charities in your area. I also yard sale to help charities, like the Diaper Closet at my mother’s church that helps with diapers and clothing for children. We also help the humane societies in our area.
Loving your channel and it almost brought me to tears this video that was so generous and so nice. I can tell that you're a very generous nice person with a big heart thank you
I absolutely love your channel! I’ve learned sooo much!! Thank you 😊 You had some great finds and I love how you are always supporting the local causes and community. Your Tops in my book!!
I saw that Cattel Prod at the first of the video and thought man that brings back memories well I looked it up it’s sells somewhere between 80 to 140 bucks
I love this video. You were able to get some treasures and contribute to a worthy cause. I am happy that I have you as one of my favorite eBay sellers.
I've only been watching you and a few others for a short time, trying to learn how to get started and learning what to buy and how to negotiate. I just love your attitude and the way you explain things and how you give back to the community. Most of all, I love the little quip at the end of your into......"Treasure". Thank you so much for generous nature in helping troubled kids! I really appreciate what you did! You did get a ton of great items! And “A Pill” of a fur baby! Enjoyed the video!
Love seeing you interact with the Pups. Brother, you are missing out on the larger electronics. It's really not that difficult to ship VCR's and there's good profit in them.
@@MountainManTreasure Athletic shoes is where most of the scammers get me. I've never (knock on wood) been scammed on a VCR. I fully test them and throw in a remote and a set of cable. The ROI is not always the greatest but I never have one for more than a few weeks, so they are mostly quick flips for me.
Hey there! Im Carl sending big love from the UK :) started watching your channel randomly as im a retro toy and game reseller myself and I really enjoy your channel your fast becoming one of my favourites on par with the legendary commonwealth picker! fun to watch , informative and fun well done my man
Had to get my daily dose of MT. Can't be out pickin without your intro stuck in my head🥰 maybe it'll bring me luck out on the 60 mile Route 7 sale today🤘
Great fines during a worthy cause. Good luck on the auction tonight, awesome program for food for the kids. Maybe, try getting yourself those large IKEA blue bags when you are out thrifting. Keeps all your items together while there and back to your car.
The Super 44 is a muffler made by Flowmaster. Those in new condition go for $90+ Flowmaster is a quality brand although most exhaust is a pain to ship.
I love Bob Ross. The timber of his voice is nearly identical to my late Grandfather's. There are times when I can not sleep and I will go lay on the couch and watch the Bob Ross channel. Try as I might I can never watch a full episode before I fall asleep.
I just bought two medium boxes full of mostly vintage Scooby-doo blankets, pillow, bobble-head, and plush for $65. The throw blanket alone should come close to getting my money back. Comps on a lot of them is $20 to $30. Some Scooby stuff sells pretty good. I see the little Scooby-doo in your background. If you need any Scooby stuff let me know. LOL
I'm new to your page. Following you now. What is the name of your eBay? As I would like to see what you are selling. Also question I've asked others I never get a response. I live on SSI only $794 a month. Where do you go to look up comps? I've not been to any yard sales this year but got a few things from a thrift store I love it as they have great prices and the money goes towards dv victims. You have a great day. I'm just trying to make a little extra money to get by every month
Hey, Rebecca! My store is linked in the description of all the videos if you wanted to wander! In terms of comping, best is using either the eBay app or just ebay on the desktop. Search for your item and it'll bring up how many are listed. You can narrow the search by whether it is new or used, the conditions, size, etc. Then you can look at how many are sold. If there are more sold than listed, it's an item in high demand. And that will show you the price it is selling at as well.
I keep forgetting to bring my big blue bag to yard sales. Went to one 2 days ago, had a bunch of stuff, made a pile on the ground. Told my wife to take this one item to my pile, she put it back down on the table for like 10 seconds and this other guy who was hovering over me looking at stuff I was looking at right after grabbed the duck and put it in his bag. Though I was upset, nothing could be done outside me asking as those are the unwritten rules, you put it back down in the wild, its up for grabs. I did ask, but the guy ignored me, like just wouldnt acknowledge I was right there. lol If I had the bag, I could of put it right in my bag and not an issue. BTW the item was a vintage wooden mallard decoy with sold comps over $100. They were selling it for $2. Live and learn...
Omg really keeping the dog in a truck..I would freak out..please tell me it’s cold out..Bob Ross was a drill sergeant and he said “ I WILL NEVER RAISE MY VOICE AGAIN “. Obama/Biden shirts a must.
@@MountainManTreasure I see. Okay, cool. Thanks. Just the way the world is nowadays, me personally- I would not want to be recorded by some random man. A guy sitting in his vehicle was filming my friend & I at the park. Pissed me off to be honest. I know it is lawful, but feel it is morally wrong to do that. As I approached his vehicle, he kept holding it up, looking into it and got a very big smile, which pissed me off even more. Let's just say I bet he will think twice before being a fugging creep again. 😂
Oh, a yarn llama. How cool!!! LOL I tend to like some oddball things. Kevin once showed us how to set the ebay up so it will automatically show sold comps when you scan. I forget how, but it's in one of his vids. Wait, you were at $135, held up something marked $50 and she asks if you'll do $200??? I think I missed something there. I got a little irritated with her (some will see this as picky, but it really isn't) when she said she had a "special needs child" and "down's syndrome child". I, personally, have a daughter with Down syndrome and she is just that, a person first. "Person-first language" is popular throughout the differently-abled community. Whatever their condition or disease, it does not define them. They are people first and foremost, who just happen to be differently-abled than most. The food program is awesome. We looked into the phenomenon of not having food at home when I did my Master's in nursing. It is much more common than most people realize. Bless you, for supporting it and them.
I like to see available and solds for comps … if you don’t see both, you only get part of the picture. And I did still have another $50 tag we hadn’t gotten to yet, so she swung me a solid deal
It might be kind of cool for the whoever wins giant Eniman in turn auctions it off for some charity in their community and then the next person does the same and so on
It’s not a charity as much as an event. It’s a fundraiser for intermountain, which works to help kids both inpatient and out who are struggling with various mental wellness challenges
A tip to new pickers. When you make a pile of stuff. Do not play the dumb card when someone knows what’s something is worth. The seller knows when a buyer is a reseller and it is insulting to their intelligence to do this move. In forty plus years of being dealer have seen it since day one. But in the UA-cam generation it happens much much more often. Because everyone is a picker
