This is called Guqin, one of the most ancient instruments in China with 3000 years history. Nobody knows who designed it... There are around 3000 melodies that have been passed from generation to generation until today. This is one of them. It's called 渔樵问答 (translate to English literally means "the dialogue of a fisherman and a woodcutter.) This melody was created at least 500 years ago. I'm learning to play Guqin now. It's very peaceful music, love it.
