I see other interesting books in the shelf like the classic green, Webster 1828, Ruckman's commentary set at the bottom, Martyr's Mirror and others. Great stuff, thank you for sharing!
Thank you Brother! I must say I really enjoyed your review of these Bibles. I have a fe pop w of the Bibles that you have in your collection. I agree with everything you said about each one of them. Probably the two I use the most are the Dake and the Ruckman. Everything you said about the Dake Bible is 100% spot on. I do not recommend it for new Christians, as there are too many seeds to spit out. Thank you for all you do for our Lord.
Brother, I am glad the Lord led me to your channel. If you could, brother Roy, pray for my wife Amanda and our two daughters Robyn and Helen Overbee and for myself. The Lord has called me to preach the Word of God, and I tell you the principalities and powers are against us all.
Nice collection- I have two KJV Bibles that I use all the time. The first one is a large print Life Application Study Bible from Tyndale. The other one is a personal size large print reference Bible from Holman. That one is small enough to fit in my purse if I want to take it with me,but the print is still big enough to read. That one came in handy a couple months ago when I was in the hospital with high potassium- I brought it with me so I had something to read.
Flat earth? There are many educated good decent folks out there with no common sense! Thanks Brother Roy ! I would love to get a premium KJV study Bible someday, I will probably before summer, I see nothing wrong with spending money on God’s perfect word and passing it down to grandson
Love this Bible review video you have some nice bibles. Sometime can you do a review of some of it extrabibical resources that you have on that shelf? It looks like you have some good stuff on that shelf!
I own the King James Study Bible, The Scofield Bible, and the the Ryrie Study Bible. My first study bible was the King James Study Bible, which I bought in 1993. It's a bit beat up. 😊
Thank you dear Brother Roy! Jesus is coming for us! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection with all your heart for payment of all your sins, past, present and future.
I have a nkjv scofield study bible. Also have a parallel bible....it has 4 versions in it kj,modern language, the living bible, and revised standard. Stick with the kjv cuz its awsome.
To me the body of Christ began when Jesus commissioned his disciples and then ascended to Heaven. Am I wrong in thinking that? Anyway - That is a nice collection. One of my main Bibles is the (gulp) Thomas Nelson KJV Study Bible 2nd Edition. The notes aren't bad and leaves me room to meditate on things and find truth. But the Ruckman floored me. It is the best. Unfortunately I could only get the Ruckman Ref. Bible in a vinyl cover. SO... I have the materials to remove that nasty husk of a cover and rebind it with leather (sheep skin). I plan to round the pointed edges and gilt the pages myself. Give it the cover that it should have! Thanks for sharing with us, Brother Roy!
@@oldschoolbiblebaptist I see it. "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence." I wasn't too far off. The time between His ressurection and the Great Commission was 40 days and the Great Commission happened because of his ressurection. =) Thanks Bro. Roy.
I’ve heard some Bible teachers say they are very suspect of study bibles with a person’s name on the cover especially if it is the largest printed word on the cover.

Nice review Bro. Roy. I like my KJV Thompson Chain Reference Bible. I prefer it since it aids in comparing scripture to scripture.

In my opinion, the Ruckman Reference Bible leaves Scofield, Dake, Larkin, Common Man's, etc in the dust lol.

BrotherRoy which bible do You Read of the 1611 KJV, tell Us, Thank You?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ruckman Reference Bible
What are your thoughts on Matthew Henry commentary
Weak, shallow, He didn't understand right division.
Charles Ryrie (1925-2016) was a good egg, not spot on with all dispensationalism or KJB only, but he was better than most.
Can I get the isbn number for the 1611 hardcover Bible?
Just Google it
Ive hunted everywhere for an interleaved KJV! Can't find one :/ grr lol

It began when He rose from the dead. Col. 1:18. Who was the first one in the body? Christ! He is the Living Head!

@HailRider Amen Brother...I say "The cross changed everything!"
Unrelated but what do you think of Paul heatons works?
Doesn't ring a bell.
The BBB offers his works for sale because they are solid KJVO.
