The reason why is because when that artist gets too old and doesn’t feel like singing that perfume or that makeup, clothes, and (whatever you sale) if it’s still prospering, that is still ensuring you money.
When you’re sleeping, someone around the world is buying your perfume, your clothes, your makeup. You’re still benefiting from it.
Look at Rick Ross, when he’s not making music, he’s making money off of Wingstop.
It makes no sense for Benny to make fun of that. Especially when you’re a music artist and you make music videos, the contract that you’re under is constantly getting you to pay for their studios, their producers, their Equipment and it’s all top-notch (true enough), but it cost an arm and a leg people don’t understand how much musicians pay out of pocket just for those things.
It does not hurt to have an extra stream of income! If anything he should make his own line of SOMETHING.
