Disability aid: Adapted scissors [CC]

These are my adapted scissors. I find them easier to use especially on days when my EDS is affecting my hands more or I’m experiencing more neuropathy and spasms in my hands.
The brand is Fiskers and I bought them from Amazon.
As you can see the design is very different to traditional scissors and they’d be helpful to people with a wide range of different symptoms, illnesses or disabilities.
The spring in them also makes them quite effortless to use and they’re comfortable to hold and the lock/unlock on them is very easy and a good design feature.
I have a lot of aids that I use around my home for lots of different tasks (my best friend calls my the gadget queen!) - if you’d like to see more short videos like this let me know in the comments.
