  • Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) works with the European Agency for Health and Safety at Work (EU-OSHA) to promote risk prevention in the workplace. EU-OSHA's research has shown that many work-related accidents can be prevented by taking the proper precautions.
With this in mind, TMHE presents our safety checklist for engine powered forklift operators. In this short video, you will see a quick series of daily checks which can ensure the safety of the forklift operator and others in the workplace.
There are three simple steps to follow:
    1. Perform a visual check and walk around the truck
    2. Check levels of oil and fluids
    3. Driver compartment and dynamic check

the guy did the same mistake twice, put his hand on the rear part of the frame when backing up . that's a no no so if you do that ,backing up & put your hand there & as you turn & hit a solid object bye bye fingers.
