I snagged the NYXI two years ago when you first reviewed them and they are awesome and now I am thinking I might have to snag these ones.
Just want to say that thanks to you I got the best controller in my life which is the scuf instinct pro really love you contant keep it up much love❤
You should try the Mobapad M6 HD, they have mechanical buttons, hall effect sticks, HD rumble and NFC for amiibo
I've been using the mobapad HD for a month now. It's absolutely a great third party joycon. I definitely would recommend over the ones here.
I got mine already everything is good about them expect gripping them with my hands well they started to give me pain within 20-30 minutes and I can't use them and no I don't have carpal tunnel.
I've been using the nyxi hyperion pro's for a few months now but just recently got the mobapad m6 hd's and they a soooooo much better, none of that cheap feel you get with the hyperion pro's. The m6 hd's are definitely a huge step up.
Right there with you. I have both and constantly move back to my mobapads. Love them.
I’m reviewing those soon Will, I am so excited. I’ve heard nothing but good things
They're honestly the best joycon alternatives out there. Not taking them out of the switch any time soon
For what type of hands are they good for? because I too have the mobapad m6 HD and when using them it gives me pain when I grip them for like 20-30 if someone has a secret to make them more comfy let me know. because I love everything about them expect the pain they give me and no I don't have carpal tunnel.
@skyecloud968 The hyperion pro's are a little bit bigger than the m6 hd's they also stick out quite a bit more on the bottom corners. The hyperion pro's are definitely suited for larger hands.
Just to put it out there guys ive done some testing with the hall effect joysticks modules and it depends on what game you play you do in fact get stick drift apex legends is one of them but to not get stick drift at 0% dead zone you need to put the response curve at 10 call of duty you dont get any stick drift and to be clear iam using the victrix pro bfg hall effect modules and i know these joypads are different but they all use the hall effect joysticks modules
A fine review as usual.
I just broke the GameSir Kaleid from it's box/prison today, and fired it up to play some Apex Legends.
The buttons have that nice mechanical feel to them.
Thanks for the comprehensive detail on your reviews, Controller Captain.
A request, could you do a review on the Steam Controller? I am interested what insight you might share with us.
Thanks again, Cheers from Canada.
I have been wanting to review the steam controller for like 2 years 😆, I actually have 2 (one new in box) that I picked up specifically with a review in mind. Coming well hopefully soon
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Yes, I remember you mentioned in a previous comment you have 2 of them, I was just reminding you. :)
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I just realized, I didn't say please.
Please, Controller Captain, would you please do a review of the Steam Controller?
Thank you in advance.
Addison.
Great video. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Nitro Deck at some point too.
I’ll look into it, I’m actually pretty ignorant on it other than hearing the name a few times
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I got both this controller and nitro deck and prefer the deck, it feels better 👍 crkd just announced a new retro controller too which you might want to check out
yo that ace of spades looks insane with the smoke. where can i get one lol
I tried messaging you on your discord about a Facebook marketplace listing Alienware. I just wanted you to be aware. PS: I’m digging the Stormtrooper helmets 1:08
I've had my switch for a couple months now (i know very late to the show) and I'm looking for my first new joycons. I'm looking for something great for handheld since i have the OLED and spend 90% of the time playing that way, watched your new mobapad review and might go with those but these green ones would look awesome with the zelda oled so can't decide. Also was thinking of going with a one piece joypad but i can't find an in depth review of those gammeefy hall effect ones from amazon that light up in lighting or spider silk. You seem like the video game controller guy, any thoughts on it? Thanks for the video
For the steam deck I actually prefer the Elecgear ones over the gulikit ones since they have better circularity. At first I had thought they were the same and liked the Gulikit since they offered ones with the joystick caps already on them but after watching your videos now I understand that they are not the same and in my opinion the elecgear ones a better even if you have to solder the joysticks.
Elecgear also makes some hall effect sticks for the joycons but I haven't tried those myself. I would assume they will be similar to the Gulikit but with better circularity.
if you want to use these on PC, use a 4.0 bluetooth module, to avoid connection issues.
what can you prefer me for call of duty warzone ? im playing on pc
Since you are reviewing these, I wonder how you'd like the Mobapad M6 HD ones.
I have gotten so many request to review that controller, it’s gotta be pretty damn sweet. Review coming in the near future
Does xbox series controller forza horizon 5 edition have 125hz or 250hz polling rate on xbox series s?
Anyone knows if they work for PC? Im looking for some good switch controller but would be dope if i can use them in my PC also
Can this Nyxi controller connects to Xbox X|S through Brook XB2/3 or MayFlash adapter?
can you review a 50 dolar controller by binbok(binbok ultra pro conteoller)
Just got my Flydigi Apex 4 controller today, absolutely loving it. Video coming soon?? plz can i has controler revew plz k thx
Can you please review the Mobapad m6 HD?
Yes. There’s actually two moba pad controllers that will be reviewed in the near future, and that is one of them
The only thing I hate about my white Nyxy chaos controller is that if you press down on one of the back buttons the other back buttons deactivate and it’s annoying for apex legends on my switch.
Oh damn, I’ve actually never noticed that but I totally believe you
I got the Hyperions last year, first they would disconnect from my Switch then I got stick drift so I gave up on them and got the Doyoky Wireless RGB Controller which works a lot better though the dpad isn't that good. NYXI just has terrible quality controls.
I got those white Hyperion in 2023 for Years of the Kingdom, after around 3 play sections on my switch I decided to stop playing and let yuzu get more mature so I can play it on pc, few months passed and yuzu is still messy so I went back to my switch just to find out now of nowhere the ocntrollers have drift. Again, just three times I used them...
duuuuude you should really check the mobapad m6 hd
18:43 ay yoo
I'm trying to find a new good controller. Any recommendations?
Hey Fabio. what is your platform, preferred price, and any features you need?
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I'm on a PC, and I'm looking for a PS4 or Xbox controller, preferably a PS4 controller. My price range is up to 230, and I want at least two paddles and smart buttons and bumpers. but the smart buttons and bumpers are not necessary.
I have a nitro deck, it's way more comfortable than the hyperion, big downside to it, the nitro deck relies on the switch for power. I prefer hyperion for having a source of power
I'm interested in getting these controllers however only on Amazon since I can have it delivered to an Amazon pick up box right outside of my building where I don't need to keep an eye out for the delivery window. Amazon making it super convenient for me to order and receive my packages without needing to worry about missing the delivery time frame or worried about getting packages stolen.
please try the swiss rocket games controller
I haven’t used my switch in so long to be honest
bro I go soooo long in between remembering I own a Switch. It is my least used Gaming device for sure
@@GamerHeavenOfficialfor sure i thought i was the only one who forgot they owned one
Still waiting lol
its a damn shame these hall effect coming so late in the switch lifecycle… the controllers will outlast the console as the new switch will be unveiled soon..
No PC support = L
Don't buy nyxi, I got defective ones that actually damaged my switch. They haven't bothered to answer back besides an automated response
@@hater6346 a defective joycon somehow messed with the rail. It even opened up the middle plate. I got a replacement joycon but not a replacement mid plate. But my switch is still more loose and wobbly
If I accidentally called this controller the Athena, That’s because that was my daily driver joy cons from NYXI for about two years, I skipped over the Hyperion, and what we are reviewing in the video is the Hyperion Pro which has hall thumbsticks for five dollars more.
Bro can test the Mobapad M6 HD Joy Cons?
