i love this show, the only flaw i have with it is obviously there not being enough knuckles, that's it. i'm just a huge fan of him and desperately want to see more of him in his own show.

Exactly. People could use a little more faith. Also, Sonic movie 2 showed that the filmmakers care about Sonic characters and lore in how much more faithful it was to the games compared to Sonic movie 1. I suspect their next TV show will follow a similar trajectory.
I think knowing Jeff Fowler mainly focused on the Sonic 3 movie and the first episode clearly being the best out of them all goes to show how good Sonic 3 will be

I remember the people at Paramount+ saying that they want to introduce more characters from the games with each big installment (Knuckles being a spin-off exclusive to Paramount+, doesn’t count too much with this), and I think that they want to do this slowly over time so they can really make their introductions special (they didn’t really introduce a major Sonic character in the Knuckles show besides Pachacamac, but he’s more or less an extension of Knuckles’ character and conscious).
I think the problem is that they’re having trouble finding the perfect voice actor for characters like vector and omega and they also need to create the movie stand in for those characters.Let’s let paramount take there time
@@buno7089 I don’t think they’re having trouble choosing the right voice actors. It’d be a bit silly to delay a character’s introduction just because they can’t make up their mind on the right casting, and so far, we’ve had nothing but hits for all the game characters.
The seriess expanded more about GUNs story that resolved the loose ends of Sonic 2 regarding GUN and prepared some parts of the story of Sonic 3. Between Sonic and Sonic 2, GUN was a task force created to oversee alien threats to Earth along with Robotnik's menace after his fight with Sonic in San Francisco, but in the post credits scene of Sonic 2, it was strange how GUN had Shadow's file if the experiment happen 50 years ago and GUN was only created recently. The Knuckles series reveals that GUN wasn't created from nothing, but was created from the remains of the Black Ops division especialized in robotics and weaponry that was overseen by the government and was headed by Robotnik, who had in his employment Agent Stone, the Buyer and every black coated men and women who appeared along Robotnik in the first film. After Robotnik's obsession with finding and killing Sonic led to an amount of damage that could expose this Black Ops unit, the government decided to erase Robotnik's files, get rid off everyone who worked with Robotnik, like Stone and the Buyer, and transformed that division and its resources to GUN, so it explains why GUN had Shadow's file because that file was in Robotnik"s Black Ops division first. The show also explains that GUN is now allowing that Sonic, Tails and Knuckles live on Earth under surveillance instead of capturing them, which makes some GUN agents like the two of the Knuckles show go against the organisation, because they see that as a treason to what GUN stands for.
I think it's for the best, take Forces for example, too many characters and the story wasn't really good enough, I think Paramount is going into the right direction, introducing more characters at a slow pace while also trying to develop their character arc

@koplopbopthecatsikune9502 I liked it as well. It was definitely better than the last Sonic spin-off, Sonic Prime, but maybe it's just my personal preferences. (I've always preferred the lighter, comedy-based Sonic series like Adventures and Boom over the darker, action-based ones like SatAM, Underground, X, and Prime.)

The Knuckles show was really great, it gave a purpose to Knuckles' character where he had a fully fleshed arc in the 2nd movie and made him as a mentor for Wade. I don't get why sonic fans hate it, the sonic movies are set in another universe where human exist, and the fact that they made a friend ship for Knuckles and Wade is really funny. At the end of the day this show is great, and we need more stuff like this.
Honestly, for what it was, the Knuckles show was great, in my opinion. Would I have liked more Knuck? Sure! But honestly, while this gave Wade more screentime, it was a HUGE amount of character development for Knuckles being able to see this journey through in his capacity.
I think a show exclusively being Knuckles in this world, without this development that he got, would have been even worse comparatively. He was flat humor, but that's about all he was. Now he's a bit more matured in his role in this world. And I honestly think the human characters are incredibly important to making the Sonic characters thrive. Bringing them in fully developed is going to get stale real quick, and the humans serve as the perfect medium to integrate them into the world they're now a part of. Knuckles now realizes that this is home, and he's all the better for it.
Just to add-on to why Just Knuck in the show would have been bad, they'd have to throw a flavor of the week villain that he'd just punch each episode. No depth to it. Especially when he's as powered down as he is, not having the full suite of his capabilities that he has in the games(That I assume they'll slowly give him over time).

The real question is: What kind of humor the people who hates it like? Because if I remember well we got a decade of absolute awkward and cringe comedy content starting with Sonic Colors and it ultimately made EVERYONE flee that franchise except for that tiny minority who laughed at stupid lines like ''Baldy Mcnosehair'' and ''no copyright can't stop me''. Is this the kind of BS these people are into and if yes, why we'd care about what they think?
I know the Sonic franchise very well and to get what is happening you must accept these facts:
1: There are two majors factions that will never get along when we talk about the direction of this franchise; no middle ground is possible.
2: You must always focus on what these criticisms actually imply
For example: I bet many of those who say this is a Wade show and yadda yadda are actually rejecting the presence of humans and secretly wish that the SCU leaves earth to explore more owl shit. The SCU has evolved a lot since Sonic 1. The first movie had an insecure vibe in it and is the weakest of the bunch but now we feel they found their mark and i'm glad they are targeting normies. I want Sonic to be cool and fun, the least they talk about owls, the better it is. Keep it grounded and I hope they'll continue their Regular Show humor with a lot of dude bro macho silliness and 80-90s tropes!
I Feel Bad For Knuckles Series Being Lower Rotten Tomatoes Scores!
Human characters are not bad characters-provided they have a good reason for interacting with Mobians and/or Robotnik type characters. I for one like these humans because it shows how the dynamic of the world is shifting due to the aforementioned's presence.

You listen to the feedback at this point that’s the reason why we got the sonic movies and the knuckles so because they listen to feedback listen the only reason that we got a second sonic movie a knuckle so upcoming third sonic movie is because the fans Has shown negative feedback towards the first movie when it came to sonic design after that we got a whole redesigned for sonic and it helped they shouldn’t double down after the knuckles show. They should listen to the feedback and once they listen to the feedback, it will help the progression of this franchise they wanted to work. That's why stuff like Sam crying on camera is the most fake and actually pathetic reaction towards a TV show. God not even Halo fans cried at the Halo show. I don't want to knock on Sam, but he opened himself up for criticism. At this point I personally think with Sonic 3 he and a few others should be barred from the blue/red carpet (or whatever color they decide to go with) this time around. Instead invite people and fans who are actually passionate and truly appreciate the Sonic Cinematic content, including Knuckles. The first episode was so good at that moment, but now the problem is that it's starting about Wade. People were not happy about this. That's why fans are starting to hate the show, they writers made wade Stole knuckles Spotlight. They were focus on him to the story.

The screen time was an issue and i'm not going to pretend it's not. wade shouldn't be the main character in a show titled Knuckles. but i feel the issue is a bit overblown because at it's core, it a fun well written show.
*No one uses Paramount Plus, so this is not that surprising. Only people who did likely got it just to see this, or were already fans and just so happened to have accounts.
Its a nice stat, but need I remind you all of Velma and how it got a number one debut? That was solely due to there being nothing worthwhile on the platform with the cartoon purge they had, so it gassed up the figures.

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but perhaps the reason Knuckles wasn't in it as much as Wade, is because of CGI budget. Perhaps with this doing well, the next Sonic show, will feature Knuckles (or whoever) more prominently with a higher budget. Also Idris (or should I say IBLIS *budumtish*) Elba is probably bigger than any of the other actors in the film, so he's probably more expensive to. Thought I heard a rumor the 3rd movie will feature the Sonic characters more. So if that's true and movie 3 does great, maybe that'll also help Paramount realize that more people want the Sonic characters.

I personally thought that Knuckles (2024) was better than the last Sonic spin-off, Sonic Prime. For one thing, Knuckles is set in the continuity of the movies and doesn't try to claim it's canon to the games the way Prime did (it didn't help that Prime's incarnation of Sonic was a huge step down from his video game counterpart). Also, I wasn't worked up over Knuckles ending on a cliffhanger the way every previous Sonic spin-off did since it was an interquel series, and to my surprise, it didn't end on a cliffhanger. Yes, Sonic and Tails are only featured in the beginning of the first episode, but hey, the spin-off is called Knuckles for a reason. I think my favorite episode of Knuckles is the fourth one, "The Flames of Disaster" because of the dream sequence where there's a musical about Knuckles' life story with Wade dressed in a Knuckles costume, and after said sequence, Wade wins against his captor, Jack Sinclair, in a joust. As Knuckles is rated TV-PG, it does contain some mild language, so it's more for longtime fans like myself than newcomers. I also enjoyed the mythology gags, namely Knuckles' cowboy hat from the OVA movie. To quote Comic Book Guy at the end of The Simpson's 20th Anniversary Special in 3D on Ice, "I liked it."

Here's the thing about the Knuckles miniseries. I enjoyed it. I'll start there. That said, it is obvious that it was filler and that they were playing it safe, and this is likely because they genuinely didn't know how well the show would do. So what I would say going forward is this.
This is something that they can get away with once, because I know they weren't sure how it would do. I understand that. But now that they know people will watch these spinoffs, this can't be the way they do them every single time they make one. The next one has to involve the game characters a bit more, and most importantly, *it has to be important to the main plot of the series and not just filler*.
If I was in their position, I would be looking at what Kingdom Hearts does with their spinoffs and how they work each and every one of them into the main plot of the numbered titles. Whether you love that series or hate it is irrelevant. They know how to do this and they're really damn good at it. If the Sonic movies are going to have more of these spinoffs, then they can be done in the same manner, making them matter just as much as the movies.
I believe that they will obviously try to make the Shadow spin-off be better when the time to do that comes, because don't forget that Jeff Fowler is a major fan of that Ultimate Lifeform hedgehog, so it's easy to believe that he will not shy away from directing every episode and from making sure that more effort will be put into the production of that film. So as someone else replied when I commented this at a different channel: He will make that show his own baby!
So I don't think that we will have to worry about that spin-off.

This gives me more respect for Paramount now, but then again, I’m still a bit concerned if they are going to double down.
I thought Knuckles was a decent show. It could have featured more action scenes with Knuckles, but it's obvious the budget didn't allow for that. I thought Wade as a character worked well enough, and Knuckles shined whenever he was on screen.
There's one thing that I just can't understand though, which is the love for episode 4. The dream scene is EASILY my least favorite piece of Sonic media in a very long time. It went on for way too long, and it was an overly cheap and childish way of showcasing Knuckles' backstory. Seriously, if the Sonic franchise turned into this, I would be out of here! You can't tell me with a straight face that this kind of content would attract new fans to Sonic.
Other than that, it was fairly entertaining show. It was good enough that I would watch a second season of it.

Skip all the haters that was talking about this show in a bad way I watched all sets episodes in one sitting and it was a good show it may have its flaws but it is not bad I gave it a 7 and I recommended two does that have an open mind and not to people that judge stuff like children that's why it pays you to watch it for yourself despite what people say especially if it's something you want to see or you've been waiting for it let the haters Parish 😂🤣
The question if there's gonna be more human then sonic stuff it sounded like speculation they listened to the fans with the old sonic design from 2019 they can definitely listen to the fans now.
To me, the Knuckles Series (or nis one of those series where it’s “so bad that’s good” kind of series. I may consider this over Sonic 1. I think that episodes 1 & 4 are the best in the series, episode 3 has the best action scene (especially where they have to protect a candle), Knuckles is still great (looks really cool with the hat from the OVA movie), Pistol Pete looking like the British Mr.Monopoly Guy,and have some good moments and jokes that are far from a worst Sonic content. I actually don’t mind watching a video on the decision making process for Knuckles Series.
Despite that, yes there is some bad stuff about it. The show is like the wedding scene from Sonic 2 again but make it with Wade and about bowling. It does show because episodes 5 & 6 (the worst episodes) mainly focus more on bowling than the final battle with The Buyer. Speaking of The Buyer, he’s the most forgettable character, but at least he’s not Wade’s sister. She is the worse character in the franchise, even Robotnik from the first movie is better than her.
I don’t think that it’s the worst Sonic media. I would Sonic 06, Rise of Lyric,& Ugly Sonic model to be considered worst Sonic media. I am wondering if there is going to be a Season 2 that would either actually focus on Knuckles or Knuckles training Wade to fight for a boxing tournament.

Bro knuckles is not bad, episode 4 and 5 may be slow and a little boring but the rest are great. These people are just the average sonic haters
I think the complaint that Knuckles doesn’t have enough screen time is a little silly. I felt like him and Wade had an equal amount of presence in the show. I guess some people just don’t like him sharing the spotlight.
Well I mean it's called the Knuckles show, so i wouldn't expect a character such as Wade to have so much screen time in comparison to Knuckles.

I’m actually surprised that the Knuckles show is a “Certified Fresh”. Some people didn’t like the show, and it’s pretty obvious why. I’m just starting with the show, and I’m already enjoying it. I don’t know. This is pretty spilt among critics and users. The first two Sonic movies were already amazing, and I’m sure they’ll do something to make this the most successful Sonic movie project ever. Crazy that the Knuckles show is the most successful for now at least. I’m hoping the third Sonic movie won’t have similar mistakes than the Knuckles series. I’m sure it might make a lot of people happy, but Twitter is literally the worst place for sharing opinions. Let’s stay away from there and hope for the best.
If you accept it as a Wade and Knuckles buddy show, it's a pretty fun show. If you want Knuckles and only him, you are going to be disappointed.
