Our 16-year-old daughter died in 2016 as a passenger in a van while traveling to a Christian outreach program. She was to be at the altar to receive and pray with other teens who were to be saved that night. When we received her cell phone and opened her playlist, this song played. It is what we believe she was listening to when she was taken. Knowing she was praising God when she left us and is in heaven is what we focus on in order to get through each day without our beautiful girl. We love you and miss you, Faith!

This song came up out of my spirit when I found out my nephew has den killed in a motorcycle accident last week! I am praising Jesus that He is with our Heavenly Father now and God is still good! I love this song so much! God bless!!!

I like the part of the lyrics that speaks about how God is holding on even when things get dark. Sometimes people get the impression that Christians are impervious to the sorrows of this world but that couldn't be more incorrect. We experience the same things in our lives. Such as passing loved ones, trauma, and other obstacles. What comforts me is that I don't have to act strong and act as if it doesn't effect me. It's okay to cry a break down every once in a while because God is holding on even when things grow dark.
Song Story: Sarah Mcmillan was facing through a pain process due to her parent's divorce. Then Sarah wanted to kill herself. But she was reminded about the Goodness of God. He is always good no matter the situation we are facing for. Sarah felt pain because of her parent's divorce and joy at the same time, joy because she had her newborn babies. Then King of my Heart was born and John Mcmillan helped Sarah to finish the song. That's how the song was born (John is the husband of Sarah. He wrote How He loves).
God use his infinite wisdom to guide us and protect us. Cause when I think I can stand before him and bring the world to heel, I have problems. However, when I fell on my knees and bow my head, he make the whole world harmonious and convincing for me.

I can't find this bridge in any other versions in this way. This version is the one that REALLY got me through some difficult times with divorce and life difficulties. Wanted to give up at times. So thankful for this little tidbit that other artists don't do.

Our worship team sang this song today during the offering and everyone was seated but when I heard the first few notes out of habit my hands went up and before I knew I was the only one in a room of about 300 standing up and praising and worshipping and the thought came to mind that these people are so distracted by everything going on they can't even move their bodies or their minds for that matter! I live in south GA. and these people around here have dry bones!! You see I used to follow the dead and panic and I surely danced and paraded around and it gave me this energy from somewhere else but it left me wanting. So now that your music has been on steady rotation in my life I dance and praise to your music and all I can say is some of the most enlightening moments of the past 2 years has been me listening to your music walking around town and dancing. People here think I'm crazy. Lol. If they only knew!!!
