i also noticed many of the trainers bearing marks equating them to their first pokemon like gold with an aipom tail, crystal with a smoohcum mark, wally with keckleon stripes, ruby with poochyena fur sleeves. sapphire has aaron like spots on her hat, the hair accessory on silver makes me think of a part of sneasel (specifically i don't recall completely), pearl has a chatot like accessory on his scarf. blue has a jigglypuff bag. bianca has a scalchop on her hat, cheren has a green badgelike object on his jacket, and hugh has a trapinch on his shirt. too bad that it looks like you couldn't make a reference on everyone or perhaps i just didn't notice them all.
