You clearly have not been paying attention people want you to believe that society has been treating women as poor defenseless souls but these truly powerful women have existed EVERYWHERE for a long time cara, kahlan, katara from Avatar, mulan, Gladriel from LOTR and plenty more are truly strong women and not these simulated strong female types like Captain marvel because the only reason they are strong is BECAUSE they are women whereas kahlan and cara are just strong and them being a woman has nothing to do with it
I know the television series can't be compared to the books, but no Mord-Sith would stand a chance against a Confessor... In the books, even attempting to use an agiel on a Confessor is a death sentence. Their power would be released instantly... Unlike in Legend of the Seeker where they had to grab the person by their throat in order to invoke their magic, in the novels the slighted contact anywhere is enough for a Confessor to unleash their power- even if the person is wearing armor.
However is the books confessor take time to recharge after using their power. Kahlan in considered the strongest as it takes her hours not days to recover like most confessors. Darkan Rahl is immune to confession due to the powers of Orden he has invoked.
When this show first came on, I instantly fell in love with Bridgette. She was gorgeous, hot and sexy. Don't know where she is now, but she needs more tv time or movies.
I watched this and had a crush on Bridget Regan -> the series got cancelled I watched Shannara Chronicles and have a crush on Poppy Drayton -> the series got cancelled too Damn it They better don't cancel Charmed 2018 because Poppy Drayton is there too
