Travel to Bicol | 1st Pioduran Tinapa Festival 2023 EP34

1st Tinapa Festival was celebrated in Pioduran Albay from March 5-13 , 2023 Nine Days Celebration of Founding Anniversary of Municipality of Pioduran Albay .
This festival is celebrated to promote the Local Government where Smoked fish also called “Tinapa” is a word from Bicol meaning smoked fish.
The municipality of Pio Duran was named after Pio Duran, a brilliant Bicolano lawyer who was born in nearby Guinobatan town. It was created out of several barrios of Guinobatan, Jovellar and Ligao City by virtue of Republic Act 3817 which was approved by President Diosdado Macapagal on June 22 , 1963.
A location like Pioduran is a Hidden Gem in the Albay archipelago, with Agriculture and Fisheries as its primary source of income.
Furthermore, the contribution of tourism in the Pioduran area is growing rapidly, contributing to the residents’ source of income.
Feast, also called festival, day or period of time set aside to commemorate, ritually celebrate or reenact, or anticipate events or seasons-agricultural, religious, or sociocultural-that give meaning and cohesiveness to an individual and to the religious, political, or socioeconomic community.
