I totally agree with you pregnancy isnt all fun and games. Its a beautiful process but its also a struggle at times. But like you said you get a beautiful miracle at the end. I'm currently going through the same...the heartburn and things of that sort make me a bit impatient but then you feel baby kick and its just reassuring that this struggle is worth it. ❤so excited for you!!!

Currently 37 weeks preggo with (surprise) baby #3 our first boy. I love watching a new Mommy prepare but also it's helpful because this is our first boy and it's very different. Your vidoes make me so excited for baby ( 10 more days) and also your attitude regarding being pregnant and delivery is perfect. Noone loves being pregnant and if they say so they're lying. Delivery will be fine. You'll get through it and most likely do it a few more times. Love your honesty.

So like you I wasn’t loving being pregnant, just loved the outcome. I had a very easy labor and delivery. I was so expecting the “movie” version... you know the yelling and screaming and that so wasn’t the case. I even asked my doctor after my daughter was born if that was it and if I was going to feel pain and she laughed and said that’s it. So I’m not sure if my outcome was the norm but I had gotten myself so worked up after hearing and seeing on tv all the crazy deliveries that I was a nervous wreck and honestly it was the best experience ever! I wish you guys the absolute best and as always you are seriously glowing and gorgeous! Pregnancy looks good on you!

I am so happy for you! Just wanted to mention re:your skin darkening. There is a skin condition that frequently happens during pregnancy, where you get dark spots or patches of darkness. It's due to the hormones and totally normal. It usually goes away shortly after you give birth, so don't worry! You are glowing😚. BTW I love your tree!

I didn't feel very excited about having a boy before I actually had him. I wanted a girl so bad for all the cute outfits, but oh my god, now that my boy is here, it's such a wonderful thing. Baby boys love their mommies so much and I'm so happy I have a boy instead of a girl!!! I'm sure you'll feel the same :D

As an OB nurse I agree that the overwhelming response from most mommas is that pregnancy isn't quite as glamorous as social media mom's can make it out to be 😳. Still awesome and amazing, but not everyone loves loves being pregnant. Worth it in the end though! My insta handle is kjoelle11 😘

I am so late watching this but I have finally watched 😊 it’s been a joy watching your pregnancy journey Alex. It’s very interesting to see everyone’s thoughts, and opinions on the process. I have two kids and each pregnancy was definitely different. I think the darker pigmentation you’re experiencing are from the changes in your hormones. And I honestly can agree with you about feeling about pregnancy. You truly don’t feel like yourself and it can be very hard. I don’t enjoy being pregnant but I enjoy being a mom so much that it’s like i am willing to do it for the end product lol but one thing I hate about pregnancy is the low energy I have because I am such a busy body. I enjoy making list of task and completing my task and staying busy all day lol my husband thinks I am a bit neurotic but I am such a perfectionist and pregnancy both times have sloooow me down lol I want one more baby within the next couple of years sooo I have an idea to train for pregnancy lol like get my body is such shape because right now I am 32 maybe if I train I’ll be able to endure the pregnancy better lol I have never been physically overweight I always been thin and gotten back down to my pregnancy weight but I need to build strength and stamina to carry baby next time lol anywho thanks for sharing your 2nd trimester experiences with us. I'm due on the 21st march and feel the same as you. I had horrible morning sickness, was actually hospitalised and couldn't even drink water. Worst 3 and a half months ever! I'm having a little girl and it's my second. We had an emergency c section after 36 hours of labor for the first so I'm feeling a little scared for birth again. I️ did NOT enjoy pregnancy!! I️ felt like I️ was not in control of my body at all. And I️ completely had that feeling you are describing where I️ just did not feel like me anymore. I’m so glad you’re being so honest! It is hard to explain that you aren’t feeling well or that you don’t enjoy it because people can be so nasty, they almost act as though you’re being ungrateful or something. All I️ can say- by the end of the 40weeks, I️ had completely lost sight of having the baby, I️ just felt as though I️ was terminally ill! Lol then I️ had my daughter and the very second that she was born, I️ seriously came alive. It was magical. I️ can’t wait to hear all about the rest of your journey!!!💛

That's so funny that you felt relieved when finding out you're having a boy. I felt the same way but about having a girl! :) I am a middle school teacher and although the girls are more emotional (obviously lol) the kids who are always in trouble, poor grades, disrespectful, etc. are 99.9 percent of the time boys. That worries me for if I ever have a boy!

I have two boys and man was it tough to find things. I did the same for the nursery just warm neutrals. My skin did the same when I was pregnant. It drove me insane but a month or two after i delivered they lightened up. Now I'm four month postpartum it almost gone!! I did enjoy pregnancy but I was like you I wanted my baby and I wanted to hold my baby and cuddle with my baby. Lol I didn't have a birth plan or anything. Lol the nurses were kinda confused because most women are very adamant about their birth plan. I was like I just want my baby to get here safe. I had two calm med free labors ♥️

My husband and I struggled for both our pregnancies. Not with fertility, but with a genetic barrier. 4 years later I have a 2.5 year old and a another sweetie on the way. Stay positive, take care of yourself first, and everything will be okay. xoxo

I love seeing pregnancy updates. I'm 21 weeks and having a boy also. this is our second baby and our first was a girl and let me tell you, from one pregnancy to the other it has been completely different. I'm also right there with you that just is ready to feel normal again and ready for the baby to come. I have to admit, in both my pregnancies I have not been a big fan of actually being pregnant lol. I'm just always more excited for the baby to get here. plus my pregnancies have been tough so its not exactly the most enjoyable. although, my favorite part is also feeling baby kick. (and seeing them during ultrasound appointments!)
I looooovvvveeeedd being pregnant! I felt good, the most confident I've ever felt. But I also didn't get very sick at all. I had ligament pain and sciatic pain, but it never bothered me. I was very lucky. I miss being pregnant! But what you get out of it does overpower that. I love watching other people and seeing how different and similar things are!

Girl listen. I’ve been pregnant three times and I’ve had three beautiful girls out of it and I love them more than life but I hated (almost) every minute of being pregnant. It’s so overwhelming trying to learn and understand everything you have to do during pregnancy. Not to mention I was sick basically the whole time I was pregnant with all three. And I was like you, I couldn’t wait to just have my baby here and Feel back to normal again. But honestly I don’t think you ever will be like your old self again. You are still you but it’s a transformation of the old you to new mom you. I don’t know how to explain it but I’m sure you will understand when he gets here! Not saying it’s a bad thing either, just saying it is different! Wishing you all the best and a safe delivery!! 💙💙

I had that same thing happen to me but I more feel like I'm tearing something and it happens when I stretch a certain way it scares the crap out of me. But I don't know what it was either. I went to my next dr appointment and baby was fine .
When I was pregnant I couldn't wait for my daughter to come but there are sometimes i just want to go back to when I was pregnant. It was just amazing to carry a life and feel her kick or move.
I’ve been pregnant twice. First time I was nervous and just scared the whole time. Overall I was happy when it was over. Second time around because I knew what to expect, I enjoyed it way more. Even though both times I had cholestasis, that was the only hard thing to go through. After my second baby, I can honestly say I’m more sad to know I probably won’t have any more children. It makes me appreciate that fact that I carried my baby’s and experienced pregnancy in general. Labor the first time to me was scary because it was unknown to me. My second time, I was induced and was a lot easier. If there’s one thing I learned, was during labor just keep the audience down to a couple of people, it will get overwhelming with everyone talking to you. It can feel mean, but you definitely want to be relaxed.
I know this would sound horrible but I hated pregnancy. I LOVE having my precious kids but the 40-wk journey to get there are the worst weeks I had. It messed up my body, I felt sick and tired and weak, helpless & depressed. No, not fun at all!

I knew I was having a boy with my second!! I had his name picked out for years , it’s Austin btw😀I always wanted 1 boy and 1 girl and that’s what I got!! I had kids very young so I got my tubes tied at 30!! My kids are such gifts from God and they bring me such joy!!😀

I am so late watching this but I have finally watched 😊 it’s been a joy watching your pregnancy journey Alex. It’s very interesting to see everyone’s thoughts, and opinions on the process. I have two kids and each pregnancy was definitely different. I think the darker pigmentation you’re experiencing are from the changes in your hormones. And I honestly can agree with you about feeling about pregnancy. You truly don’t feel like yourself and it can be very hard. I don’t enjoy being pregnant but I enjoy being a mom so much that it’s like i am willing to do it for the end product lol but one thing I hate about pregnancy is the low energy I have because I am such a busy body. I enjoy making list of task and completing my task and staying busy all day lol my husband thinks I am a bit neurotic but I am such a perfectionist and pregnancy both times have sloooow me down lol I want one more baby within the next couple of years sooo I have an idea to train for pregnancy lol like get my body is such shape because right now I am 32 maybe if I train I’ll be able to endure the pregnancy better lol I have never been physically overweight I always been thin and gotten back down to my pregnancy weight but I need to build strength and stamina to carry baby next time lol anywho thanks for sharing your 2nd trimester experiences with us. I do enjoy watching your main and vlog channel. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas ❤️

I'm due on the 21st march and feel the same as you. I had horrible morning sickness, was actually hospitalised and couldn't even drink water. Worst 3 and a half months ever!
I'm having a little girl and it's my second. We had an emergency c section after 36 hours of labor for the first so I'm feeling a little scared for birth again.

I️ did NOT enjoy pregnancy!! I️ felt like I️ was not in control of my body at all. And I️ completely had that feeling you are describing where I️ just did not feel like me anymore. I’m so glad you’re being so honest! It is hard to explain that you aren’t feeling well or that you don’t enjoy it because people can be so nasty, they almost act as though you’re being ungrateful or something. All I️ can say- by the end of the 40weeks, I️ had completely lost sight of having the baby, I️ just felt as though I️ was terminally ill! Lol then I️ had my daughter and the very second that she was born, I️ seriously came alive. It was magical. I️ can’t wait to hear all about the rest of your journey!!!💛

That's so funny that you felt relieved when finding out you're having a boy. I felt the same way but about having a girl! :) I am a middle school teacher and although the girls are more emotional (obviously lol) the kids who are always in trouble, poor grades, disrespectful, etc. are 99.9 percent of the time boys. That worries me for if I ever have a boy!

I love your style! I totally agree that UA-cam lacks baby boy videos. I have two boys and man was it tough to find things. I did the same for the nursery just warm neutrals. My skin did the same when I was pregnant. It drove me insane but a month or two after i delivered they lightened up. Now I'm four month postpartum it almost gone!!
I did enjoy pregnancy but I was like you I wanted my baby and I wanted to hold my baby and cuddle with my baby. Lol
I didn't have a birth plan or anything. Lol the nurses were kinda confused because most women are very adamant about their birth plan. I was like I just want my baby to get here safe. I had two calm med free labors ♥️

My husband and I struggled for both our pregnancies. Not with fertility, but with a genetic barrier. 4 years later I have a 2.5 year old and a another sweetie on the way. Stay positive, take care of yourself first, and everything will be okay. xoxo

I love seeing pregnancy updates. I'm 21 weeks and having a boy also. this is our second baby and our first was a girl and let me tell you, from one pregnancy to the other it has been completely different. I'm also right there with you that just is ready to feel normal again and ready for the baby to come. I have to admit, in both my pregnancies I have not been a big fan of actually being pregnant lol. I'm just always more excited for the baby to get here. plus my pregnancies have been tough so its not exactly the most enjoyable. although, my favorite part is also feeling baby kick. (and seeing them during ultrasound appointments!)
I looooovvvveeeedd being pregnant! I felt good, the most confident I've ever felt. But I also didn't get very sick at all. I had ligament pain and sciatic pain, but it never bothered me. I was very lucky. I miss being pregnant! But what you get out of it does overpower that. I love watching other people and seeing how different and similar things are!

I have a 3 year old little boy. Pregnancy 🤰 was ok. I wasn’t super in love with how I felt but I was grateful to be growing a baby 👶🏼 I was definitely anxious and impatient for him to come. (He was 3 weeks late). You look beautiful and congratulations 🎈🎉🍾 you guys are having a boy!!!!

Girl listen. I’ve been pregnant three times and I’ve had three beautiful girls out of it and I love them more than life but I hated (almost) every minute of being pregnant. It’s so overwhelming trying to learn and understand everything you have to do during pregnancy. Not to mention I was sick basically the whole time I was pregnant with all three. And I was like you, I couldn’t wait to just have my baby here and Feel back to normal again. But honestly I don’t think you ever will be like your old self again. You are still you but it’s a transformation of the old you to new mom you. I don’t know how to explain it but I’m sure you will understand when he gets here! Not saying it’s a bad thing either, just saying it is different! Wishing you all the best and a safe delivery!! 💙💙

I had that same thing happen to me but I more feel like I'm tearing something and it happens when I stretch a certain way it scares the crap out of me. But I don't know what it was either. I went to my next dr appointment and baby was fine .
When I was pregnant I couldn't wait for my daughter to come but there are sometimes i just want to go back to when I was pregnant. It was just amazing to carry a life and feel her kick or move.
I’ve been pregnant twice. First time I was nervous and just scared the whole time. Overall I was happy when it was over. Second time around because I knew what to expect, I enjoyed it way more. Even though both times I had cholestasis, that was the only hard thing to go through. After my second baby, I can honestly say I’m more sad to know I probably won’t have any more children. It makes me appreciate that fact that I carried my baby’s and experienced pregnancy in general. Labor the first time to me was scary because it was unknown to me. My second time, I was induced and was a lot easier. If there’s one thing I learned, was during labor just keep the audience down to a couple of people, it will get overwhelming with everyone talking to you. It can feel mean, but you definitely want to be relaxed.
