Hey Pastor Jesse, I used to dabble in the Occult. I used to let spirits dwell in me to gain power. I would have major anxiety, depression, suicuidial thoughts, and panic attacks. I felt overwhelmed by the experience. The demonic spirits would violate me while I was asleep. One day, I put my trust only in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, death, burial, and resurrection. Once I believed, I was dwelt with Holy Spirit. Spirit of God is so gentle. He brings peace and joy.
Amen Pastor Jesse, I really appreciate God's Work carrying through you and your consistent preaching of the truth ❤ God Bless You In Jesus Name Brother, Praying for you & your families Pastor Trent, Pastor Gilbert, Pastor Hernandez, Pastor Jay & members of Tampa Calvary! ❤
Hi pastor I am glad to find another real gospel preacher. I defend the simple clear gospel as I was so heartbroken over the false soteriology promoted in most churches. 💔 I will refer my viewers to you. We agree on most however I do not agree w anyone on every single thing. We are all growing but one thing we must be united on is how we are saved. God bless you pastor. 🙏
I remember your channel from back in the day when I was managing Dr. "Yankee" Arnold's UA-cam channel. Thanks for the support and for directing people our way. We just passed 1K subscribers and people are coming to faith in Christ as a result of this ministry. - JM
I've worked with the homeless population in my western North Carolina area and also nursing facilities and care homes and I'm sure I've seen and spoke with folk that were possessed by unclean spirits but this is something, ( in the eyes of the world), can't be proved. Its my thoughts that just as devils and unclean spirits were manifest in Jesus time on earth so as His second appearing they'll return in time for the tribulation which is "their time". Just my thoughts. Good message brother
I saw a demon one time and I was not under the influence. It was a 8 foot tall shadow and had smoke or vapor coming off it and moved very fast it wasnt floating and was using it's legs to move abnormally almost like it was using roller skates. That experience let me know that this realm we know so well is not the only one. My brother who was with me at the time saw it as well so I knew it wasn't a hallucination.
What do you think about casting out demons for today? Is this legit? Do we as Christians have the ability to cast out demons like Jesus and the disciples did? Is this compatible with cessationism?
We do not personally believe that any of the miraculous sign gifts are still around today. Paul claimed they would cease when “that which is perfect is come.” We believe that since we have the completed scriptures that we no longer need the sign gifts. Plus practically speaking, the healings/exorcisms/tongues of today are either faked or are actually very much demonic in and of themselves. (I’m not saying God can’t heal or cast out the demons that are indwelling people. We just don’t have a bunch of Paul’s running around with that power, clearly…) - Trent
@@BibleLine Then you are also preaching a false gospel. The bible says to preach the gospel and heal the sick and cast out demons (mathew 10) .. and Philippians 2:5 says : In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. dint Jesus heal the sick and cast out demons and spread the gospel? In other words is our DUTY as christians to go out and heal the sick and cast out demons and spread the gospel.
@@LookinUp_ Yes i would suggest you do that indeed. And i would like to ask if you have a personal relationship with Jezus to just ask him if it was just for the 12 apostles.. you will be surprised at his answer.
The sign gifts were ultimately for the purpose of leading people to the Savior. The gospel is not the gifts, but the gospel is the DBR of Jesus Christ for the payment of our sin. Faith in Him saves the individual. The signs helped persuade and convince people to believe. - Trent
@Tan Ewelee I know Trent and Jesse can give you a more detailed answer! However, 1 John 5:18 means that Satan cannot "touch" a Believer's "soul", or in any way change our eternal destination (OSAS). However, because we still have our old nature; and, our two natures are always at war within us (until we receive our new glorified bodies), we can be influenced to walk in the flesh.
That’s a solid portion of scripture particularly pertaining to the Holy Spirit. It does appear that since we are in dwelt by that Spirit that we cannot be in dwelt by demonic entities. - Trent
@@allysonp2254 ; I generally agree to your comments , however I disagree a believer still have two natures, the old and the new nature. I don’t think the two natures concept is biblical.. The Bible tells us we have only one self. For example, Romans 6:6 says, “We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.” This resurrected new self is clarified in a familiar verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come”…. Not only that, but Romans 6:4-5 tells us when we were buried with Christ, our old self was buried with Christ. When Jesus rose from the grave, he left our old self in that grave. When Jesus was raised from the dead, God created a brand-new self, a new you that was resurrected with him. He replaced your old identity from Adam with your new identity in Christ. Of course, we still have the immoral desires, thoughts and old habits but that is not the real you or your new identity it’s just your attitudes. …Paul in Rom7 states ithere was something “in the members” of his body that he calls “my flesh,” which produced difficulty in his Christian life and made him a prisoner of sin. But NIV and NLT Bible version translates the word in Greek “sarx” as sinful nature which is not precise. The actual word “flesh” meaning is “the material which covers the bones of a creature; flesh. body. the edible flesh of a fruit. The seat of animalistic, immoral desires and thoughts, such as lust. (Christianity) The physical or natural order, which is opposed to the spiritual”. NOTE it says our natural body OR the seat of animalistic, immoral desires and thoughts such as lust and thus it doesn’t mean “sinful nature” which is a poor translation. Therefore, the notion that a believer have two natures is unbiblical. Thank you.
@@BibleLine fully agree to your teaching. However at the 7.56 mins. mark why did you say in your conclusion and included Calvinistic teaching is a dangerous thing and those are not teaching from God. Would appreciate if you could expound further on it. Thanks
Hey Tan. We agree that Calvinism is atrocious, and we have many a video on it. We will make more though. The concept of the two natures is accurate. One example is Galatians 5:16-22. Why would we be commanded to walk in the Spirit if we had no flesh nature to avoid serving? Your other scriptures fit this idea, and I can expound on that if you would desire. Perhaps we shall make a video on this. - Trent
I certainly wouldn't worry about demons if you are a believer in Christ. Christ dwells in you and demons are terrified of Christ. I was standing in a grocery line one day and a guy was walking up behind me to get in line. I saw him walking up out of the corner of my eye. He got closer and quickly jumped back. I turned and ask him what was the matter. He said, "I'm afraid of you". I ask Him why. He said "I know the spirit that is in you". I ask him what spirit do you see? He said "God or Christ" I don't exactly remember which one he said. I ask Him what spirit dwelled in him. He said a specific name, but again, I don't remember. I ask him what he believed. He said that when he dies, he will be required to cross a bridge to his destination. The wierd thing is, I remember talking to A couple of guys at work 40 years earlier who believed the same. However, 40 years ago, I felt like demons were trying to molest me. It scared the crap out of me and I left the job site and went home. I looked into it after my encounter with the guy in the store (about 12 years ago) and found it is an ancient false religion dating back before Abraham.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is definitely a good proof text for the believer not worrying about demon possession. Nevertheless, demons can absolutely harm or tempt us, with God’s permission of course. We need not be overall afraid because Christ has the victory! - Trent
That’s a good question! It appears that swine tag alongside that of idol worship. The people of the city definitely didn’t want Jesus sticking around, perhaps due to that guilt somewhat. They weren’t supposed to keep or deal in pigs, so it was kind of a double whammy casting them into the swine. - Trent
@mrblackfyre2071 It because demons are territorial and they are protective of an area. The reason why Jesus didn't deal with the demons is because it was not there time yet. Demons are here in the result of the flood. However Jesus exposed them and free there hold on a human being. Demons have very specific assignments. So it may sound crazy but we should be asking why did they go to the swine. And if they needed a body. Why did the swine kill themselves by drowning in water. Because remember that theyhave an job to do. Demons do more then just torment living souls but they use people to curve a directional pivot to cause futher strategic destruction and control on the earth especially against the people of God.

No, they very much believed. They just fell into error.
