Being Irish myself, I’m not the greatest fan of the British Monarchy given our Irish history, but I do agree with Princess Anne’s predictions - Princess Diana and the wider Spencer family do have Irish connections and I’m certain that had she still been married to Prince (now King) Charles and even after her divorce, had she still lived, I feel certain that Diana would have visited Ireland - in our times, the British Monarchy since the late Queen Elizabeth’s passing has been reduced to nothing more than a cheap, tawdry, tedious and tiresome soap opera that no one wants to watch anymore and Charles’ disgraceful treatment of Diana during her lifetime is going to make him as unpopular as King George IV with his treatment of Princess Caroline during the Regency period, even before the Victorian era
Princess Royal Anne was absolutely correct. If Charles couldn't be without Camilla, he should have kept her as his Mistress. But he was too weak to say no to her. Charles was intimidated by Diana’s beauty and popularity. Camilla truly was his perfect match, they’re both horse faced. I’ve seen people criticize Diana’s affairs, calling her a cat in heat, which makes me angry. I believe her affairs came from being angry and embarrassed over everyone but her knowing he was still with Camilla. She felt like a fool, and even worse, a fool under a public spotlight of millions of people.
